Akavi expelled since June, says AAP
Dimapur, October 9 (MExN): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Nagaland, Media Cell clarified that Akavi N Zhimomi, the former candidate from Ghaspani was expelled from the party since June 2018 “for violating the party constitutions and defaming the party image” and not resigned as he claimed. The AAP media cell further stated that he was not a founder member of AAP and that none of the state executive of AAP Nagaland joined the NPCC. The AAP Nagaland requested the members and sympathisers to take note of the above mentioned facts.
CRPO appeals for better road
Phek, October 9 (MExN): Chozuba Range Public Organization (CRPO) has appealed to the Department of PWD (R&B) Govt. of Nagaland, E.E PWD (R&B) to improve the condition of the road between Kohima Chozuba via Kijümetuma, Khüsomi. A press release from the office of CRPO stated that the above mentioned road is the shortest and the most convenient route for the public to reach the state capital and appealed to the concerned authority to look into the matter urgently.
Arms License UIN generation extended
Tuensang, October 9 (MExN): In pursuance to the Circular issued by the Home Department, Police B Branch on September 11, all those who have been issued Arm License(s) from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang and have not yet generated the Unique Identity Number (UIN) of their License(s) are informed that the generation of UIN has been extended to March 31, 2019. L Jamithung Lotha Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, in a release has asked all concerned Arm License Holders are instructed to generate their UIN at the earliest so that the licenses are not rendered invalid.
