PDTA expels former president and secy
Phek, October 12 (MExN):The Phek District Timber Association (PDTA) has expelled former President Sanyi and former General Secretary Tsote Wezah from the membership of the association. A press release from PDTA Election Convenor, HT Vero and Audit Committee Convenor, Phukhusayi Ruho stated tgat they were expelled for mismanagement of association’s fund for the last 13 years running over several lakhs.
MRVC at AR Middle School, Wokha
Wokha, October 12 (MExN): The 28 Assam Rifles conducted Measles Rubella Vaccination at Assam Rifles Middle School, Wokha on October 12 from 09:30 am to 10:45 am. Mallika Borah, Principal of Assam Rifles Middle School, Wokha inaugurated the programme. A press release informed that a total of 116 children were vaccinated. Team from District Immunizations Department, Wokha with two Doctors and three Nurses administered vaccination to the children. Regimental Medical Officer of 28 Assam Rifles along with medical team participated in the programme. At the sidelines of the programme, an interaction was organized by the District Immunization Department Wokha to spread awareness on the importance of prevention and care off disease. Children under the age of 15 years were vaccinated.
