It cautioned that failure to do so would compel the organization to “take its own course of action.” The KVYO informed that the appeal for construction of the bridge was mentioned in the organisation’s representation submitted to the Chief Minister on August 13, and a copy which was sent to the Engineer in Chief, PWD. It however lamented that work is “still in the dormant state with no visibility of concern on this main lifeline leading to the state’s mitochondrial planning hub.” It meanwhile appreciated the PWD for its efforts to improve the roads in and around Kohima and hoped that the department would ensure “timely interventions and completion of the undertakings.”
