RMSA State Level Science Exhibition on October 23

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) Nagaland will be organising the State Level Science Exhibition under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) scheme at Dr Neilhouzhü Kire GHSS, Seikhazou on October 23, 11 am. The exhibition will be conducted under the theme 'Consequences of Climate Change' with Kevileno Angami, State Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Nagaland gracing the inaugural function as the Special Guest, a press release here informed.  

Tsütuonuomia Khel day on Oct 25

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): Tsütuonuomia Khel, Kohima village will be observing its annual Khel Day on October 25, 1:00 pm at Mission Compound. The day commemorates the battle of 1879 and the subsequent Peace Treaty between Tsütuonuomia Khel and the British. It is organized to commemorate the bravery and resilience, brotherhood and peace, handed down by the Pioneers of the Khel, a press note from Khotuo Kevin Solo, member publicity committee, T Khel Day said. The day will be marked with high spirits of cultural extravaganza, music and celebration. The Khel has extended invitation to all its members and particularly all its ‘sisters’ married to other communities, ‘brother-in-laws’ and all well-wishers.  

DC Mkg informs affected land owners and beneficiaries

Mokokchung, October 22 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal IAS has informed all landowners and beneficiaries affected by the construction of two-lane road along Merangkong – Tamlu- Mon road under (SARDP-NE) Mokokchung District that property damage compensation shall be paid in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung on October 24, 10:00 am onwards. The Chairman, Merangkong Village Council is directed to be present physically for identification of landowners and beneficiaries for payment, failing which payment shall be withheld. All affected landowners, beneficiaries have also been informed to bring along two recent passport size photos, a photocopy of first page of Bank passbook and photocopy of either Aadhaar or EPIC. Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained.  

Festive decoration by November end, KMC appeals wards

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming Hornbill Festival, Christmas and New Year festivities, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has appealed all wards and business establishments within Kohima city to kindly put up decorative and festive lights by the end of November. "Your cooperation will go a long way in giving a positive face-lift to our City while also welcoming the eagerly awaited season," stated Kovi Meyase, Administrator, KMC in a press statement.  

CSU to facilitate NPSC successful candidates

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): The Chakhesang Students' Union (CSU) is organising a felicitation programme for NPSC successful candidates 2018 at Chakhesang Baptist Church Jubilee Hall, Kitsubouzou, Kohima on October 26, 11:00 am. All the successful candidates, frontal organisations, leaders, senior leaders have been asked to attend the function.  

DC Zunheboto informs on arms licence

Zunheboto, October 22 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Shanavas C, IAS in a circular has informed all concerned that the last date for uploading information regarding arms license to generate Unique Identification Number (UIN) in the National Database of Arms Licence has been extended till March 31, 2019. In view of the above extension, all the arms license holders under Zunheboto district without the Unique Identification Number (UIN) have been directed to submit their license(s) along with data in the prescribed format to arms branch Deputy Commissioner Office Zunheboto for the generation of unique identification number before March 15, 2019.
