NWA mourns demise of late Petekovi Nduzhü

Kohima, October 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) is shocked and saddened at the demise of late Petekovi Nguzhü, father of Viliehü Nguzhü, President of the Angami Sports Association (ASA) and HoD, Soil & Water Conservation Department, who expired on October 22 last, while on the way to Guwahati for medical treatment. According to a condolence note from the NWA General Secretary, Vekhozo, Late Nguzhü from Secünoma Village believed to have lived for more than 90 years bore good moral character and was a God fearing man. The NWA shared their sorrows with the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.  

SNUNS appeal units for participating in rally

Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): South Nagas Union of Nagaland State (SNUNS) has appealed all its federating units in Dimapur to positively participate in the rally against multiple taxation, extortion and all forms of illegal collection in their respective traditional attire, organized by the Dimapur based Public Action Committee (PAC) on October 31 at Khelmahal Junction from 9:00 am. All participants have been requested to reach the venue at 8:30 am, SNUNS President Joe Ngamkhuchung informed in a press release.
