Pan India Cyclathon to cover Dimapur, Kohima
Dimapur, November 2 (MExN): The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India in association with Health & Family Welfare Department (Food Safety Wing), Government of Nagaland is organizing a Pan India Cyclathon (Swasth Bharat Yatra) on the theme “Eat Right India.” The yatra will cover Kohima and Dimapur Town. The cyclists will be arriving on November 4 with stopover on November 4 and 5. ‘Cycling Kohima Town well’ be held on November 5 from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, the cycling will start from PHQ junction, PR Hill, and Swasth Bharat Yatra Mela will be held at Kohima Local Ground from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The same programme will be held in Dimapur on November 6 and 7.
CBCK youth ministry 50 years jubilee
Kohima, November 2 (MExN): The Youth Ministry of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (CBCK) is all set to celebrate its 50 years jubilee from November 10 to 11 this year. The speakers will include: Rev. Dr. Vesekhoyi Tetseo, general secretary Asian Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF), Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary Nagaland Baptist Church Council and Rev. Khrotso Mero, senior pastor Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima. Greetings will be shared by Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, Rev. Vikuo Rhi and Muliivoyi Nienu. M.V. Chakhesang will release 50 years jubilee souvenir.
PTCSU conducts surprise inspection
Kohima, November 2 (MExN): The Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union has conducted a surprise inspection on October 30 and 31 in all the schools of Phek Town. The Union had recently circulated instructions (COTPA Act Regulations) to all the shops in the town to ensure that there are no shops selling tobacco product in 100 yards from its vicinity or anywhere, to minors/students in school uniforms. But many shops were reportedly not complying with the regulations. This led to the surprise inspection and raiding of shops, the Union stated. According to the Union, 3 shops were raided for violation of rules and regulations.
Notification on confirmation of service in Dmp
Dimapur, November 2 (MExN): The Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur has issued a notification on quarterly Medical Board for confirmation of service for Grade III and IV under Dimapur District to be held on November 20 at 9:00 am in the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur.
