NPA Pungro sub-unit formed Kohima, November 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Pensioners' Association (NPA) Pungro Sub-Unit was formally launched with President Yotsulam, General Secretary Royimkiu Yim and Kaplong as Treasurer. The NPA Pungro Sub unit has expressed appreciation to President, Nagaland Pensioners' Association Rukhielhoulie Angami for approving the much needed dream of the pensioners under Pungro Subdivision. The NPA in a separate release also informed that the sub-unit was established with effect from November 1. The newly established Pungro Sub-Unit shall organize the team and intimate to the NPA alongwith affiliation fee of Rs.1000/- only, latest by November 30, it added.   ENCSU conduct cleanliness drive Kohima, November 11 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students' Union (ENCSU) organized a cleanliness drive in view of the approaching festive season on November 6 at Yingli College, Longleng; Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire; Wangkhao College, Mon; Sao Chang College; and Loyem Memorial Degree college, Tuensang. The campaign was headed by the ENCSU officials under the theme "clean environment ". ENCSU together with the student’s community pledged to keep the environment clean and green.   Counseling skills programme for Good Shepherd Seminarians Dimapur, November 11 (MExN): A two-day programme on counseling skills for the Good Shepherd Seminarians in Dimapur concluded on November 9. Rev Fr C Joseph, Counselor, St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama while stating that listening is a type of counseling also dwelled on types of listening which include casual, focused, active, passive, critical, evaluative, appreciative, empathetic, therapeutic, selective, biased, and assertive. Pointing that hearing and listening are different from each other, he said, “hearing is a physiological function and listening is a psychological activity.”He also spoke on the Call to Holiness and reminded on how God calls us to be holy.   Seminar on PMKSY at Kohima Kohima, November 11 (MExN): A seminar cum awareness programme on ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY) and potential of Food processing in Nagaland’ will be held at Hotel Japfü, Kohima on November 22. Scheme guidelines of PMKSY, agricultural resources and its prospects in food processing, horticultural resources and its prospects in food processing, experiences of venturing into food processing business will be the main topics to be deliberated upon during the seminar, a release informed.
