Kohima police issues traffic advisory
Kohima, November 30 (MExN): In view of the ongoing culvert construction near Phesama Police check gate, Kohima police has informed all up going light vehicles from Kohima town towards Southern Angami area shall be diverted towards Police New Reserve and exit via Phesama Police check gate. Kohima police further informed all down vehicles proceeding towards Kohima town from Southern Angami area will take the normal route i.e. NH-2. The general public and vehicle users are requested to extend their cooperation to Kohima Traffic Police while enforcing the above traffic advisory.
MCCI prohibits firecrackers
Mokokchung, November 30 (MExN): Transporting, stocking or selling of firecrackers of any kind by any member of the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) is strictly prohibited. A press release from President and General Secretary MCCI stated that any member caught doing this illicit business shall be doing so at her/his own risk and MCCI will not own responsibility for any member thus caught. Further, all the members of MCCI are requested to decorate their respective places of business to add more fervor to the festive season.
DC Peren inspect petrol pumps
Peren, November 30 (MExN): As per the directions of the State Government, S. Tainiu DC Peren along with Government officials carried out joint inspection of petrol pumps on November 30 at Jalukie town. A press release from DPRO Peren stated that the Petrol pumps were found within tolerance level of fuel density. DC Peren has directed the proprietors of Petrol pumps to avail all necessities before the next round of Inspection.
Nerhema inaugurates new Panchayat building
Kohima, November 30 (MExN): The newly constructed Panchayat building of Nerhe Pheza village, Nerhema was formally inaugurated on November 30 by Er. T.S.Angami, Chairman, Nagaland Public Service Commission as special invitee. Er. Angami, in his speech, emphasized on establishment of a privately managed education public institution around Chiephobozou whereby the local students are imparted with competitive type of education at par with the best in the state.
