DMC informs on cleanliness drive on Dec 15
Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the shopkeepers/ business establishment and residents under DMC jurisdiction that there will be a “Mass Cleanliness Drive” on December 15 from 7:00 am onwards under Swachh Bharat Mission. DMC Administrator Moa Sangtam has requested all to participate by cleaning their own surroundings and localities.
CM mourn demise of Neisevolhoulie Angami
Kohima, December 13 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed sadness over the demise of Neisevolhoulie Angami, retired Addl. CE (PHED) who passed away on December 13 at Apollo Hospital, Guwahati. “Late Neisevolhoulie joined Government service in 1975 under PHE Department and served in various capacities till he retired in 2008. He was a dedicated officer and was well known by his contemporaries,” CM expressed. He also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the members and relatives of the bereaved family.
NSF 5th Federal Assembly
Kohima, December 13 (MExN): 5th Federal Assembly of the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) for the tenure 2017-2019 is scheduled on December 15 at Kidima Village, Kohima hosted by Angami Students' Union. The session shall commence from 10:00 am. Amonbo Zeliang Speaker, Federal Assembly NSF has requested all the federating units, sub-ordinate bodies, tribunals and senior leaders of NSF to attend the aforementioned Federal Assembly positively.
Condolences for Ngauhei Rangkau
Kohima, December 13 (MExN): NPF Minority Wing expressed sadness over the sudden demise of Ngauhei Rangkau, son of NR Zeliang treasurer of NPF Central and in-charge of Peren division. “Late Rangkau was very young, dynamic and associated with many youth developmental activities. His absence will be felt in the heart of many youth, we have lost young soul and it’s a great loss of our society and next generation,” the condolence note stated. Meanwhile, NPF Peren Division in a condolence message stated, “At this hour of grief, the NPF Peren Division share the grief of the bereaved family members and pray the Almighty to grant them solace and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.”
