NGBF appreciation note Dimapur, December 14 (MExN): Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has expressed gratitude and appreciation to all the District GB Associations for the successful peace rally demanding early Naga political solution held on December 12 and subsequent submission of memorandum to the concerned DCs. A press release from Sahleem Konyak, General Secretary and Shikuto Zalipu President, NGBF further acknowledged NTC, Naga Council Dimapur, Mon Konyak Union, Village Councils chairmen, CNTC and all the stakeholders for their support and participation. IGNOU entrance tests for Management and B.Ed New Delhi, December 14 (MExN): Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will conduct entrance tests for Management Programmes (Openmat-xlv) and B.Ed Programme on December 16, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The candidates have been advised to download hall tickets at www.ignou.ac.in or contact regional centres to obtain the same in case of trouble downloading the hall ticket. The candidates have been informed to report to the exam centre 45 minutes before the commencement of the test. NDPP condoles demise of member Dimapur, December 14 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has expressed sadness on the demise of Peter Sangtam, Secretary Youth Organisation, who passed away on December 14 at Zion Hospital Dimapur after a brief illness. Chingwang Konyak, President NDPP in a condolence message stated that Late Peter Sangtam was an active member of the party and his absence will be deeply missed. On his own behalf and on behalf of all the NDPP party rank and file “mourns the loss of such a young and vigorous person and conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family” and prayed that God Almighty will grant strength to the loved ones at this hour of pain and sorrow.
