NMA condolence message
Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) has expressed deep grief on the demise of Late Latongle Rangkau, mother of Leader of Opposition TR Zeliang. In a condolence, NMA stated that “the loss of a mother can never be replaced. Yet we share the joy of knowing that she lived a ripe age with such an accomplishment. She was a gift to everyone." It further prayed that the Almighty God grant her eternal rest and to give strength and solace to the bereaved family.
NPP condoles demise of members
Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): National People's Party (NPP) has condoled the demise of two party workers – Late Anthony Tsangmong VP and Late Seliba Sangtam, Secretary both from Kiphire district. In a condolence, the NPP stated that “it is a difficult time for our party members and words cannot express how saddened we are of the loss.” NPP Nagaland conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
TSU condoles demise
Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): Tikhir Student's Union (TSU) has condoled the untimely death of its active and dynamic former Executive Chairman, Late Antony Tsangmong. The Union in a condolence affirmed to uphold his rendered service and blessings towards the welfare of Tikhir community. The Union prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. It further extended deepest condolences to the bereaved families of Late Antony Tsangmong Tikhir, Late Paul Asangba Sangtam and Late Seliba Sangtam.
PAC corrigendum
Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): The Public Action committee (PAC) NCD has issued a corrigendum and apology for the inadvertent over statement while referring to the case of Sangtamtilla land dispute on Hokato Vusshe, Chaplee Kilonser NSCN (U). In a statement from Media Cell, the PAC NCD stated that it “stands by the resolution of non interference into land disputes whatsoever.” The Committee also acknowledged the apology tendered by the Kilonser for violating the bandh called by them. PAC NCD further wished everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Wokha Night Carnival culmination programme
Wokha, December 22 (MExN): The weeklong Wokha Night Carnival will witness Miss Nagaland 1st runners up Grace W Ezung as special appearance at the culmination programme on December 23, 6:00 pm at Traffic point Wokha. A press release from Thunglamo Odyuo, Secretary Night Carnival has informed all allotted stalls to reach the venue before the scheduled time. It has invited all young and old to come and witness the event.D
