Awareness rally on waste management today
Kohima, August 2 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools' Association (ANPSA) Kohima Unit, in collaboration with Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL) under the 100 days Smart City Special Initiative Campaign on Sanitation is organizing an awareness rally for the private schools of Kohima town under the theme, “My Waste My Responsibility” on August 3. The students will begin their rally from their respective schools, and the rally will culminate in Little Flower Schools Higher Secondary School Kohima, wherein a short function will be held at 10:00 am. Thejawelie Gregory , Deputy Commissioner Kohima will attend the function as the special guest. This was informed in a press release issued by the President and Secretary ANPSA-Kohima Unit.
Kiphire DPDP Meet
Kiphire, August 2 (MExN): The monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Kiphire will be held on August 6, at Deputy Commissioner Office conference hall Kiphire at 11:00 am. This was informed in a DIPR report issued. The DC Kiphire has requested all the concern members to attend the meeting positively.
NDMSA representatives meet
Kohima, August 2 (MExN): An emergency meeting of the representatives of Nagaland Directorate Ministerial Service Association (NDMSA) from all Directorates in Nagaland will be held on August 7 at 3:00 pm at the Conference Hall, CANSSEA building, Kohima. A press release issued by the President and General Secretary NDMSA stated that the emergency meeting is called for the “serious deliberation on the report and recommendation of the 2017 ROP Pay Anomalies Committee pertaining to the Association, and issue relating to the recent P & AR Circular No.AR-1/ATI-7/APPT/96, dated July 8,2019.”Members are requested to treat this meeting very seriously as it will involve taking up some crucial decision making on the agendas to be discussed for further course of action. It also requested all Assistant Superintendents, Superintendents and Registrars from all the Directorates to also attend the meeting along with the representatives without fail.
DLCC for economic census constituted
Dimapur, August 2 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Kevekha Kevin Zehol has informed that the following officials have been constituted as the District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) for the economic census: Deputy Commissioner – Chairman; General Manager, DIC- Member; District Labour Commissioner – Member; District Information &Public Relations Officer – Member; District Economic & Statistics Officer-Member Secretary.
NBAK membership renewal period extended
Kohima, August 2 (MExN): The Secretary of Naga Business Association Kohima (NBAK) has informed all its registered members that the membership renewal period has been extended till August 25, for the period of 2019-2020. It informed that membership certificate shall be issued from September 2. “Any Naga Entrepreneurs having its business establishment in Kohima who wants to register with the Association are also welcomed,” it added. The Secretary of NBAK further informed that forms may be available at the following points between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, on all business working days: Eastern Computer Agencies, Nagaland 1st Floor, R.S. Building, Opp. Baroda Bank, Taxi stand, Kohima or NK Square, 62 High School Junction Peraciezie, Kohima, Nagaland. “Filled up forms with necessary documents should be submitted latest by August 25,” it informed.
Payment of NSAP under Phek district
Phek, August 2 (MExN): Meshusayi Tetseo, CDPO Phek has informed that payment of various Pension Schemes under NSAP and State will be made according to Sub- Division wise starting from August 6 to October 31 at DWO Office, Phek during the office hour. Therefore, chairman of village and town have been asked to collect the said Pension Scheme of the respective village and town along with payment book with Register of Beneficiary. Failing to comply within the stipulated date no payment will not be entertained thereafter. Tentative payment schedule: Chozuba- August 6 to 13; Pfutsero- August 19 to 23; Chizami- August 26 to 30; Meluri- September 3 to 7 and Phek- September 9 to 13.
