KMC notifies on trade license fees
Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Administrator, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), Kovi Meyase has notified all the traders to clear their Trade License Fees within one week from August 4. “A notice reminding all traders to clear their Trade License Fees was issued on February 22, 2019, there are still many defaulters,” KMC Administrator stated in a press release. “Failing which needful penalties shall be taken,” he cautioned.
LSUB informs
Bangalore, August 3 (MExN): The office of the Lotha Student Union Bangalore (LSUB) has informed all its members to register oneself to the Union’s office for the year 2019 – 2020. “The purpose of being registered for membership is to maintain all authentic record of its members and also to render any kind of assistance and service to any of its member as and when needed,” stated a press release issued by its President. Social work at Bamunpukhuri-li
Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The Village Council, Bamunpukhuri-Ii has informed all its villagers that there will be a mass social work at the village Playground August 4 from 7:00 am, under the theme “Social responsibilities for healthy Environment." “The social work shall include clearing playground jungle, construction of drainage and plantation,” it stated. The council has further requested all the villagers to bring required tools such as “machete, spade and also tree saplings” and participate positively.
Wokha DPDB meeting deferred
Wokha, August 3 (MExN): The Vice Chairman DPDB & Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Dr Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS has informed that due to unavoidable circumstances the Wokha District Planning & Development Board meeting has been deferred to August 21, informed a DIPR report. It further directed all the members to take note of the change of date and attend the meeting without fail.
Y Awunru Village prepares for Metemneo
Tuensang, August 3 (MExN): Y Awunru village, the oldest village of the Yimchungrü tribe, held a mass social work on August 2 on account of their Metemneo festival celebration. A press release stated that the Village Students Union and Village Christian Youths led by CYE president, C Kiukhum and General Secretary YVSU, HK Yimso came together and cleaned the village surroundings such as footpaths, graveyards etc. The Yimchungrü Village Students Union (YVSU) also appealed to the public to keep their own house and surroundings neat and clean to avoid all kinds of season sickness such as malaria, dengue, JE etc. The youths of Y Awunru also extended Metemneo festival greetings to its people staying outside the village and also to all the Yimchungrü.
