Beneficiaries informed to collect pension
Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): All beneficiaries of old age, widow, disabled and blind under NSAP & STATE, Department of Social Welfare are informed to collect their pension at DWO office, Diphupar, Dimapur on August 13 and 14. “This will be the last and final dates for payment,” stated a press release issued by Tosheli, DWO Dimapur.
DC Dimapur informs on I-day celebration
Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): The DC Dimapur Kevekha Kevin Zehol, NCS has invited all Heads of Departments and Public, to attend the Independence Day celebration on August 15 to be held at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur from 8:30 am. He has further informed all the Heads of Departments (HoDs) to collect their car pass and invitation from the PA to Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. The DC further informed all the heads of departments/offices under the Dimapur District that the attendance at the Independence Day (ID) function will be mandatory. “Attendance of all departmental officers and staffs of Dimapur, District will be taken at the DDSC Stadium at 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on August 15 and the attendance sheet should be handed over to the ADC, Dimapur.” This was informed in a press release issued by the DC Dimapur. Zehol has further informed that “all markets and shops are to remain closed till 12:00.”
DEO Dimapur informs Govt and Private Schools
Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): The District Education Officer (DEO), Dimapur has informed all the Schools (both Government & Private) to make online registration on or before August 18, from the DEO office, “without which they will be unable to verify the student’s details for pre-matric minority scholarship scheme.” This was informed in a press release issued by the DEO Dimapur, R Amongla Jamir.
NCA mourns demise of member
Mokokchung, August 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) on behalf of the cricket fraternity of Nagaland has expressed sadness over the demise of a cricketer of Mokokchung District, Tiaakum, who passed away on August 13, due to illness. The Vice President of NCA PB Jamir in a condolence message extended its condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the bereaved soul to rest in peace.
AR apprehends one NSCN (IM) cadre
Peren, August 13 (MExN): The Assam Rifle apprehended one NSCN (IM) cadre Seitinlal, age 41 years, for tax collection in general area Athibung market, on August 8. Extortion slips and Rs 4000 in cash was recovered from the apprehended, informed a press release issued by the Lt Col L Vincent Patton, PRO, HQ IGAR (N). “The apprehended along with the recoveries were handed over to Athibung Police Station for further investigation on August 9,” it informed.
T Khel Kohima Village social work cum get together
Kohima August 13 (MExN): The Tsütuonuomia Khel(T Khel), Kohima Village will be organizing a ‘social work-cum-get together’ on August 24.The social work will commence at 8:00am and thereafter there will be a ‘get-together’ at Rüzie, T Khel, Kohima Village, at 2:30pm.In this regard, all the Khel members have been requested to participate without fail. TSUK fresher’s day on August 24
Kohima, August 13 (MExN): The 24th fresher’s social 2019 of Thenyizumi Students’ Union Kohima (TSUK) will be held on August 24 at LCS Building Kohima at 11:00 am under the theme “Living in a smart world”. Dr Rokolhuu K Nakro, Assistant Professor, Department of Horticulture, SASRD: Nagaland University, Medziphema will be the guest speaker. The Union asked all the Thenyizumi in Kohima to attend the event.
