DEO Dimapur informs
Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The District Education Officer (DEO), Dimapur has informed all the Adhoc/ Contingency employees under the establishment of DEO, Dimapur who are to apply for extension of service for the year 2020, to submit personal application, along with first appointment order, latest extension order and Performance Certificate from the concerned Headmaster/VEC Chairmen for onward submission to the DSE, Kohima on or before October 25, during office hour.
TSUD freshers' meet-cum cultural day
Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur (TSUD) 7th Freshers' Meet-cum-Cultural Day will be held on September 28 at Holy Cross Auditorium under the theme ‘Embracing Diversity, Celebrating Culture.’ The programme will be graced by Timikha Koza, President TPO; DP Angami, former President TUD; Deputy Chairman DMC and Besesayo Kezo IPS (retired DGP) as guest speakers. TSUD in a press release said transportation will be provided at the following pick up points: For Chümoukedima area, the bus will start from 6:00 am from Patkai College and make stops at the 1st gate, 2nd gate, 6th mile ICFAI University, Tenyiphe gate, Sovima gate, Kuda Cold storage, 5th Mile Junction, 4th Mile Diphupar, Padampukhuri gate and Hollohon Petrol Pump. For Kacharigoan side, the bus will start from Dimapur Government College at 8:00am and make stops at DC court junction, Unity College junction (Duncan) and West Police Station. Govt Polytechnic Kohima informs
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): All the students of Government Polytechnic Kohima has been informed that in view of the forthcoming odd semester regular examinations and even semester compartmental examination tentatively scheduled to commence from November 5 and November 18 respectively, the time period for filling up of forms and submission of examination forms is fixed as given below: Even semester compartmental examination: October 9 – 15, odd semester regular examination: October 16 – 18. A press release from the Principal, Government Polytechnic, Kohima further informed that no extension of date for submission of examination form will be given. Students are required to produce photo —copy of last examination mark sheet while filling up examination form.
Patton mourns demise of BJP member
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Deputy Chief Minister and BLP Leader, Y Patton has expressed shock and sadness over the demise of Nchumbemo Murry, Member, BJP Wokha District Ex-servicemen Cell on September 25 at Panacea Nursing Home, Wokha Town. A condolence message from Media Cell, Deputy CM office stated that his demise was not only loss for the family but BJP Wokha district has lost a great senior member and a wonderful human being. At this hour of grief and sorrow, Patton on behalf of Nagaland BJP legislators and BJP state functionaries shared “deepest heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and beloved ones” and prayed for the departed soul to find eternal solace in heavenly abode.
GPRN/NSCN mourns demise of member
Hebron, September 25 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief at the untimely demise of Khriezo Thenuo, Khapur, son of Lhoutsolie Thenuo on September 24. The Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) GPRN/NSCN in a condolence message stated that Late Khriezo joined the National service in 1988 and served the Nation wholeheartedly with commitment for the cause of the Naga national movement. His contributions towards the Nation will be ever remembered by the Nagas. The GPRN/NSCN further conveying condolence to the bereaved family members prayed that the Almighty grant solace and comfort at this time of grief. It prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
