LFHSS Kohima Parents’ Day

Kohima, September 26 (MExN): The Little Flower Higher Secondary School Kohima will be holding Parents’ Day celebration on September 28 at 9:30 am in the school premises. Mmhonlumo Kikon, Advisor, Science and Technology, New & Renewable Energy and Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, Advisor Urban Development and Municipal Affairs will be the guest speakers.

Viswema Baptist school new building inauguration

Kohima, September 26 (MExN): The inaugural function of the new school building for Viswema Baptist School will be held on September 28 at the school premises. The managing school board has informed that the timing has been preponed to 9: 00 am instead of 10:00 am. Viketol Sakhrie, advisor to chief minister, Nagaland will grace the occasion as the guest speaker.  

Handloom weavers training under SAMARTH scheme

Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): Weavers Service Centre, an attached office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India will be training the Handloom weavers in Frame Loom, Designing and Dyeing under SAMARTH scheme for capacity building in Textile Sector. In this regard, Dr V Sivakkumar, Deputy Director/Head of Office in a press release has advised all the eligible weavers to contact the General Manager of nearest District Industries centre or Weavers service centre directly for enrolling in the stipend-based training programme.
