DDMA Kohima to disburse SDRF relief
Kohima, October 5 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has informed concerned State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) applicants under Kohima district, applied through Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department, Government of Nagaland that the approved SDRF beneficiary list is out and pasted at DDMA cell, Deputy Commissioner's office Kohima. In this regard, the Kohima District Disaster Management Authority (KDDMA) Kohima will release relief for only houses damaged (exclusively for houses) by disaster during the year 2018. It informed that the relief shall be disbursed from October 10 onwards at respective sub-division offices (Kohima Sadar, Chiephobozou, Tseminyu, Sechü-Zubza and Jakhama) DDMA cell during office hours. Beneficiaries in the approved list are asked to produce one (1) photocopy Adhaar Card and two recent passport photographs while claiming the relief.
1st Nagafy Award Ceremony postponed

Nagabazar Panchayat announces new team
Kohima, October 5 (MExN): The nomination committee No 4 (Nagabazar Panchayat) has announced the new team of Nagabazar Panchayat with Vilasielie (Kobu) Solo as chairman, Keduokienyii Houzha-vice chairman, Khriekuo Solo-treasurer, Seyiekrietuo Kelio-judicial secretary and Zeneizokho Kire as secretary for the tenure September 2019 to September 2024. The new team took over the office from September 28.
DDGBA mourns demise of GB Megozakho
Dimapur, October 5 (MExN): The DDGBA (Dimapur District GBs Association) has mourned the demise of Megozakho, GB of Signal Angami Village, on October 3 last at Eden Hospital, Dimapur. Late Megozakho, father of DNSU's (Dimapur Naga Students Union) President Sedevilie Angami, was an active member of DDGBA, and an ardent social worker who always worked for the upliftment of society. His demise has caused a huge loss to DDGBA in particular and the Nagas in general, read a condolence message from the DDGBA. It prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace, and also prayed to give solace to family members and friends during this time of grief.
LMRPO general meet
Wokha, October 5 (MExN): The Lotha Middle Range Public Organization (LMRPO) has convened a general meeting on October 12, 10:30 am, at Sanis Town Hall. The agenda of the meeting will be to discuss its constitution, flag and logo. ZSUK annual conference
Kohima, October 5 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Students' Union Kohima (ZSUK) has convened its annual conference on November 7 at SIRD Conference Hall, below Secretariat at 11:00 am. In this regard, the ZSUK in a press release has requested all Zeliangrong students residing in and around Kohima to attend the programme without fail. Further, all seniors, leaders and well wishers are requested to attend the same.
