DMC notifies butchers and meat traders
Dimapur, October 23 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has notified all butchers and meat traders within Dimapur municipal jurisdiction that in view of providing safe and hygienic meat to the consumers, all the dressed and processed meat of animals (viz. cattle, buffaloes, pigs) are to be sold in proper meat shops and not in open areas exposed to dust and flies. Further, the butchers and meat traders are also directed to obtain trade license by following strict guidelines of Veterinary Public Health Cell, Dimapur Municipal Council. “All are directed to comply with the directives within 10 days failing which defaulters will be penalized as per the provision of the Act,” stated a notification issued by DMC Administrator Albert Ezung .
Kohima Dist Level Science Seminar on Oct 30
Kohima, October 23 (MExN): Kohima District Level Science Seminar 2019 will be held on the theme “Science and Technology for Sustainable Development” at St. Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Kohima on October 30 from 10:30 am. Kohima District Education Officer Dojü Khate in a press release informed that the exhibition will be in two categories: Individual (one participant); and Group (two participants). Students from Class 8 up to Class 12 level of the schools short listed will compulsorily participate with one project/model from either of the two categories. “Basic information is being sent for ready reference,” Khate added.
LSU emergency union assembly on Oct 26
Wokha, October 23 (MExN): Lotha Students' Union (LSU) Assembly Speaker has informed that an emergency union assembly will be held on October 26 at 11:00 am at DBHSS youth center Wokha.Therefore, all the executives, seniors and all federating units of LSU are informed to attend the emergency union assembly positively.
NNC & FGN joint meeting on Oct 28
Dimapur, October 23 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) will hold a joint meeting on October 28 at 10: 00 am in Transit Peace Camp (TPC), Kohima. “The meeting will discuss on the ongoing situation in Nagaland,” stated a press release issued by Thihü Khamo, Secretary, FGN. Therefore, all the Central Authorities, Regional Authorities and all eligible Naga Army officers of the NNC/FGN are requested to positively attend the meeting.
