CKS 1994 batch to celebrate 25th anniv
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): Christ King School (CKS) Kohima, batch of 1994 will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on November 9 at Phriebazhü, Medical College, Kohima at 2:00 pm. The executive body in a press release has requested all the batch mates and well wishers to join the celebration without fail.
LTC to hold painting & essay competition
Longleng, November 7 (MExN): The Administrator Longleng Town Council (LTC) will be organizing a painting competition for primary level and essay competition for high school and higher secondary level on November 9, 10:00 am at DC's conference hall, Longleng. As per DIPR report, the event will be held as part of the Angikaar Campaign under Pradhan Mantri Awaz Yojana (PMAY) under the theme ‘Water Conservation/Harvesting.’ LTC has requested all educational institutions under Longleng headquarters to send 3 (three) student representatives for the primary level (Class 1–6) and 3 student representatives for higher level (Class 8 - 12) for the event.
SMCS platinum jubilee celebration
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): The platinum jubilee celebration of Star Multipurpose Co-operative Society (SMCS) will be held on November 9, 11:00 am at Northfield, Kikha, Kohima. Nagaland’s urban development & municipal affairs advisor Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire will grace the occasion as the special guest. The function will be chaired by Setuolie Lhoungu while welcome address will be delivered by Temjen Longkumer. All the stakeholders have been requested to bring their family members for the celebration.
Sumi Council Dimapur meet
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): Sumi Council Dimapur (SCD) has convened a meeting on November 9, 2:00 pm at its office premises at Supply Colony. Chairman Kuhoi Zhimo in a press release has requested all office bearers, Colony Chairmen, GBs and executive members of DSC, DSTH and DSSU to attend the said meeting positively.
ANSTA (Dimapur unit) general body meeting
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Dimapur unit has convened a general body meeting on November 9, 10:00 am at GHSS Dimapur. Dimapur unit President, Vihepu T Sema in a press release has informed all the members to attend the meeting without fail, failing which action will be taken, it informed.
SNIC of NCC cadets
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): NCC Group Kohima Nagaland will be conducting the Special National Integration Camp (SNIC) of NCC cadets at all India level from December 13 to 24 at NIT Chümoukedima Dimapur. Col Daniel Lotzem, Commanding Officer, 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC Kohima in a press release stated NCC cadets from all over the country with approximate strength of 800 cadets and officials will be attending the camp.
NNC offers condolence
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has expressed deep grief on the demise of Peshep who passed away on November 5 in Peshu village. Peshep, former VCC, son of late Müthong of Kingjung village, Khiamniungan Region joined national service in the first part of 2019 as a young leader. “He was entrusted as the President of Khulioh sub-region, Khiamniungan Regional Council (KRC), NNC on June 18, 2019 and he faithfully served the Nation till his death,” a condolence message from NNC Vice President, B Pashen read. He was a true patriot, and his service rendered to the Nation shall remain alive in the annals of the Naga Nation, the message added. NNC conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families and prayed for God’s peace and for the departed soul to rest in peace.
