CTYO cautions shopkeepers on selling expired goods
Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): After receiving several complaints against selling of expired goods from the general public, Chümoukedima Town Youth Organisation (CTYO) has warned the shopkeepers within its jurisdiction to desist from selling of expired goods to the consumers. A press release from CTYO informed that it will also be carrying out surprise checking of all business establishments within its jurisdiction. It further warned against the use of loudspeakers and cautioned against any anti-social activities within Chümoukedima Town jurisdiction.
DMC informs on capacity building workshop
Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Administrator, Albert Ezung has informed all the Colony Council Chairmen and the president GB's Union, Dimapur Sadar that the Electrical Inspectorate, Nagaland State Designated Agency on Energy Conservation will be conducting a Capacity Building Workshop for various stakeholders to focus on Energy Efficiency Measures at Municipal Demand Side on November 18 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur near Railway Station gate. The Administrator has requested all the Colony Council Chairmen of the respective colony and representatives from the GB's union to take part in the workshop.
DGBAN ‘animistic prayer ritual’
Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): The Dimasa GBs Association Nagaland (DGBAN) in its emergency meeting acknowledged the negotiating parties and Nagas in general, for conclusion of the protracted negotiation of the Naga political problem ushering hope for the people. A press release from its President Jiten Nunisa also informed that an animistic prayer ritual will be conducted on November 15 at Dhansiripar village for the blessings of the Almighty for honorable and acceptable outcome.
DUCCF general meet
Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation (DUCCF) has convened a general meeting on November 16 at Forest Colony Council Hall at 10:00 am. DUCCF in a press release has requested all the colonies chairmen under Dimapur Municipal Area to attend the meeting along with a Council member. Members are requested to bring the Annual membership fee of Rs 1000 and also to bring a xerox copy of Colony Recognition Order.
Inaugural of Mon District Museum
Mon, November 14 (MExN): NDPP President and PDA Chairman, Chingwang Konyak will grace the inaugural function of Mon District Museum on November 16 at Shamnyu Ward, Mon Town at 12:00 pm. Chairman of Tenak Society, Mon in a press release has requested all concerned and well-wishers to attend the programme.
