TSUD to launch ‘Daddysroad’ App

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur (TSUD) will be launching an application called ‘Daddysroad’ on February 29, 10:00 am at Tenyimi Complex. Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo (IPS) will be launching the App. The office of TSUD in a press release has invited all its senior members, Advisors, Tribal units, Sub-ordinate bodies and concerned citizens to attend the launching programme. 

NBSE informs heads of institutions

Kohima, February 27 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has convened a meeting on March 18, 10:00 am in the Conference Hall of NBSE, Kohima. As per DIPR report, all concerned heads of institutions (both government & private) recently upgraded to open Class IX & X and Class XI & XII from the academic year 2020, newly appointed heads of High Schools/Higher Secondary Schools (both government & private) have been informed to attend without fail. New Heads must confirm their participation within March 9 through e-mail (nagaboard@gmail.com) or call 9436216604. TA/DA of the participants shall be borne by the concerned institutions, it added.

 

DC Dimapur stresses on employment generation projects

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS convened a meeting of all HODs under Dimapur district at DC’s conference Hall, Dimapur on February 27. The meeting was held in connection with the concept notes and projects under Iconic Projects, where the HODs under Dimapur district were asked to submit, for preparation of Iconic Projects under LADP. As requested many departments submitted their projects along with concept notes, a DIPR report said. The DC stressed on the need for projects, concentrating more on employment generation, said the report. It also mentioned that the State Planning Board meeting held on November 25, 2019 sought for views and suggestions along with list of applicable projects under Iconic Projects from all the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB).

 

Free cataract surgery eye camp

Mokokchung, February 27 (MExN): A free cataract surgery eye camp will be held at Community Health Centre, Tuli from March 2 - 7. The camp is organized by the National Programme for control of Blindness and Visual Impairment Nagaland under the supervision of State Programme Officer (NPCB&VI). Dr R Chubala Aier, Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung in a press release has informed all the public in the area to avail the free services during the camp.

 

Deputy CM offers condolence

Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton has mourned the passing away of R Mhabemo Patton, Retired Sr Acct (T&A) in Wokha town on February 27. Media Cell, Deputy CM office in a condolence message said Mhabemo was a cheerful friend and a brother to everyone around him. “He was also a person who could give frank and honest opinion at any gathering. In his death a void has been created which will be felt dearly even in the days to come,” the message said. Patton along with his wife and family conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to find eternal peace.
