DC Peren informs

Peren, May 4 (MExN): DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier in a circular has informed to all the Heads of Departments (HoDs) under Peren District to be physically present in the district and attend to their duties with minimum required staffs and also to be available on call whenever required. “Disciplinary action shall be initiated against erring officer as per the Government Service Conduct Rules,” the DC added.

 

Import and slaughtering of pigs banned in Jalukie

Jalukie, May 4 (MExN): ADC Jalukie, Dr Tinojongshi Chang in a circular has informed to all concerned that import and slaughtering of pigs for human consumption within Jalukie Sub-Division is banned with immediate effect. The order had been issued in pursuance to the notification received from the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Government of Nagaland and in view of the reported outbreak of African swine fever and high mortality of pigs in the neighbouring States.

 

Mon: Weekly assignments for secondary students in YouTube

Mon, May 4 (MExN): With due concern for the academic session of secondary school students, the District Administration, Mon will be uploading videos with weekly assignments for the secondary students in its YouTube channel (Deputy Commissioner Mon) from May 4 onwards. Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS informed that it is recommended that the students submit the assignment report upon resumption of their academic session to their respective schools. Therefore, parents and students are requested to make use of this opportunity.
