SSA Teachers Kohima informed on document submission

Kohima, July 19 (MExN): SSA Teachers 2010-2019 (Regular and Adhoc) under Kohima District are informed that there will be a collection of member details for documentation. The mentioned batches of SSA Teachers are requested to submit photocopies of their “appointment Order, Bank Pass Book front page, IFSC Code and PRAN number to NSSATA,” Kohima Unit from July 23 to 24 at The Hut Restaurant, CK Arcade Building, Opposite Kohima post office from 11:00 am-04:00 pm, informed a press release issued. PWD (NH) informs

Kohima, July 19 (MExN): The Bougainvillea trees along the National Highway in and around Kohima town were planted for beautification as well as to control soil erosion, by PWD (NH) in co-ordination with Angami Baptist Krotho (ABTK). It has been brought to the notice of the Authority that the trees planted have been damaged at some location by public, informed a press release issued by the Chief Engineer PWD (NH). It further requested not to damage the trees planted for the welfare of the general public.

Enforcement drive to prohibit single use plastic items in Zbto

Zunheboto, July 19 (MExN): The Zunheboto Town Council carried out an enforcement drive to prohibit the usage and sale of all single use plastic items, specially plastic bags and cutleries including Styrofoam and thermal disposable plastics that has been banned vide order NO. ZTC/TC-84/2016-2017/178, Dated June 13, 2019, in pursuance of the state government order, issued to all shop keepers and owners. The Administrator ZTC, Ajit K Ranjan IAS informed that banned products worth over 50,000 has been seized and also penalties have been imposed on the defaulters. Administrator also informed that the enforcement drive will be carried out on regular basis to ensure total ban on the above mentioned products.

ATI to organize training for NCS, NPS and NSS

Kohima, July 19 (MExN): Additional Director, Administrative Training Institute (ATI) L Youdang Jamir, in a notification, stated that the Institute will be organizing a workshop on 'Ethics and Values for Public Governance' from July 23 to 25, in collaboration with the Initiatives of Change. A DIPR report stated that the participants have been drawn from the Nagaland Civil Service (NCS), Nagaland Police Service (NPS) and Nagaland Secretariat Service (NSS). Some of the topics to be covered include inner governance, relationships & teamwork, excellence in service delivery, a leadership game etc, it added.

Kohima Lotha Hoho emergency meeting

Kohima, July 19 (MExN): A general emergency meeting of Kohima Lotha Hoho (KLH) was held on July 18 at Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima to take stock of the recent media reports of emergence of a new NGO called “Lotha Public Organization” at Bhandari Town, informed a press statement issued by the Union. The Union also stated that the meeting, after elaborate and thorough deliberation on the matter, resolved to stand firm against such divisive forces and uphold the sanctity of the Tribe under the banner of Lotha Hoho, Wokha.
