ANGPTA Dimapur unit supports ad-hoc teachers’ demand
Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): The All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA) Dimapur unit has expressed support to the “just and legitimate” demand of the ad-hoc teachers under the banner of All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers' Group (ANATG) 2015 Batch for service regularisation. “This group of teachers has undergone all criteria (suitability test) for their service regularization,” maintained the unit in a press release. Thus, ANGPTA Dimapur urged the government to solve the issue of the ad-hoc teachers at the earliest “for the betterment of all stakeholders.”
Autorickshaw found
Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): An autorickshaw bearing registration number NL-07-0863 has been found by the officials of Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) near Bata Charali, Dimapur. Therefore, DDADU president, I Vitoshe Sema has in a press release informed the rightful owner to claim the same from DDADU head office near Hotel Saramati, Super Market by producing original documents within seven days from the date of this publication during office hours – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. “Failing to claim the same within the stipulated period that claim will be forfeited,” the release stated.
DMC warns NL Road shopkeepers
Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the shopkeepers of Nyamo Lotha Road that with effect from July 1, 2018, strict penalty will be imposed for littering of garbage within the mentioned street. All garbage should be dumped in the trailer which will be stationed in the mentioned street, stated an order from DMC Administrator, Moa Sangtam. Offenders will be fined an amount of Rs. 500 for first offence, Rs. 1000 for second offence, and Rs. 5000 plus cancellation of trade license for third offence, the order added.
Kohima Sümi Hoho holds consultative meet with Sumi MLAs and officers
Kohima, June 25 (MExN): The Kohima Sümi Hoho organized a consultative meeting with Sümi elected members (NLA) and Kohima Sümi officers here at Hotel Japfü on June 25. Kohima Sümi Hoho president Dr. Vinito Chishi in a press release said the meeting was initiated to build better coordination among the Sümi community in Kohima. It also discussed various matters concerning the common interest and welfare of Sümi community in Kohima. Himato Zhimo, IFS, president Sümi Officers’ Union Nagaland and Hekhushe Shikhu, president Sümi Hoho also addressed the meeting.
NVBDCP organizes free check up
Kiphire, June 25 (MExN): The Department of National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (NVBDCP) organized a free check up at Cedeyevong village. The public gathered at the Head GB Compound for blood test to check for malaria, informed a press release received here. The department also provided some first aid to the villagers. The department was led by Zhokuve Chakhesang (DVBC). Lesumew, village council chairman of Cedeyevong village thanked the group for the valuable service they rendered as most of the villagers are facing problems affected with various diseases.
Kohima Town Hotel Union meeting
Kohima, June 25 (MExN): All the members of Kohima Town Hotel Union have been requested to attend a general body meeting on June 30 in the conference hall of Hotel Japfü, Kohima at 11:00 am without fail. A press release from the union president, N Theyo informed that the meeting will discuss: election of president, vice president, secretary/ joint secretary/ treasurer etc.; any other matters brought by the members. Members have also been requested to “make it convenient” to pay their membership fee of Rs. 100/- p.a. (excluding those who have already paid) along with registration fee of Rs. 500/-.
