1st Regional Tenyidie Spelling and Poetry Recitation Competition 2018
Kohima, June 27 (MExN): All schools and colleges participating in the 1st Tenyidie Spelling and Poetry Recitation Competition 2018 have been informed that the event will be held on August 24 and 25 at 9:30 am at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima. A press release from the Organising Committee further informed that categories for the competition are as follows: Poetry Recitation – Category I – Classes 6, 7 and 8 (August 24); Category II – Classes 9 and 10 (August 24); Category III - Classes 11 and 12 (August 25). Spelling – Undergraduates (August 25). The last date for submission of forms is July 17. I&FC Dept to bid farewell to chief engineer
Kohima, June 27 (MExN): Farewell programme for outgoing Chief Engineer of Irrigation & Flood Control Department, Er. S Kughaho Sema will be held on June 30, 2:00 pm in the conference hall of Chief Engineer’s office, I&FC, Kohima. The programme will be chaired by Additional Secretary, I&FC, Kevekha Kevin Zehol and speeches will be delivered by Advisor I&FC, Namri Nchang and outgoing Chief Engineer, Er. S Kughaho Sema.
GPRN/NSCN recovers Bolero pickup truck
Dimapur, June 27 (MExN): Office of the Union Territory, GPRN/NSCN has informed that it has recovered a Bolero pickup truck (white colour) bearing chassis number MA1ZN2GHKE1A11467, engine number GHE1M7376. Therefore, the rightful owner has been informed to claim the same from the Union Territory office within three days with all relevant documents. GPRN/NSCN discharges two
Dimapur, June 27 (MExN): GPRN/NSCN has discharged two people from the group on different grounds. The Ministry of Kilo Affairs has discharged Vikito Ayemi, Khapur under Sumi Region from active national service on health ground with immediate effect, informed a press release from R Sangtam of Ministry of Information & Publicity (MIP), GPRN/NSCN. Meanwhile, the office of the Chief Secretary, GPRN/NSCN has discharged Kitsiho Sumi, Assistant Sectional Officer, Ministry of Religious Affairs from active service owing to his “unavoidable mission project,” the MIP informed in another press release. The GPRN/NSCN has conveyed best wishes to the two.
National Award for teachers
Kohima, June 27 (MExN): Principal Director of School Education, Smita Sarangi (IAS) has informed all government school teachers that they can nominate/apply for National Award to Teachers online, which is a new initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Teachers can apply directly by logging in to www.nationalawardtoteachers.com. Further information can be obtained from www.mhrd.gov.in. Opening of web-portal for inviting applications should be done on or before June 30, 2018, said a DIPR report. National Awards to Teachers 2017 mobile app can be downloaded from Google play store, it further informed.
