Local fresh fish vendors/suppliers invited

Mokokchung, July 10 (MExN): In view of the ban on import/sale of formalin treated fresh fish in Mokokchung district and subsequent to non-availability of fresh fish in the market, interested fresh fish vendors/suppliers from Mokokchung district have been invited for distribution/sale of locally available fresh fish. The retail price for local fresh fish has been fixed at Rs. 250/- per kg subject to review of price from time to time, ADC & Administrator, Mokokchung Municipal Council, W Manpai Phom has informed. The supplier/vendor shall be responsible to ensure that the fish product is formalin free and safe for consumption, the ADC added.  

Kohima DPDB member secretary informs

Kohima, July 10 (MExN): The District Planning Officer and Member Secretary, District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Kohima, Heinswading has informed all concerned departments that in view of the renovation works going on in the office of District Planning Machinery, Kohima, the DPDB Hall will not be in use until the repairing work is completed. The monthly DPDB meeting will be held at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Kohima on July 16.  

AAP Nagaland unit condoles

Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Nagaland unit has expressed sadness over the demise of S Alem Lkr, father of Dr. Amos Lkr, Convener AAP Nagaland. The party extended condolence to Dr. Amos and his families. “May the soul of the father be at peace with the heavenly Father and may our Lord comfort the bereaved family during this time of grief,” it wished.  

Dimapur Bongs expresses sadness

Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): Dimapur Bongs has expressed sadness over the sudden demise of Mitra, father of Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Director ICAR (NRC on Mithun) on July 8. “He was a nice gentleman,” stated a condolence message from Dimapur Bongs president, Rajat Paul. It conveyed condolences and prayed that Almighty God grant solace and strengthen the bereaved family members.
