NSRLM postpones interview
Kohima, July 16 (MExN): Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), Department of Rural Development has informed that the personal interview for the posts of Area Coordinators and Accountant Cum Data Entry Operator, which was scheduled to be conducted on July 17 & 18 at NRLM office has been postponed due to technical problem. A press release issued by Athelo Lotha, Addl. Secretary, RD& Mission Director, NSRLM further informed that the rescheduled date of the interview will be notified in the local dailies.
FPS/village councils of Kohima Centre asked to collect food-grains/sugar
Kohima, July 16 (MExN): Sashilemla Pongen, Inspector, Food & Civil Supplies, Kohima has informed all the Fair Price Shops (FPS)/village councils of Kohima Centre that the PHH and AAY food-grains/sugar will be released from July 19 onwards between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm. Therefore, the concerned FPS/village councils have been directed to collect their respective quota on the following dates: Kezocha circle villages and Merema, Tsiese Basa & Bawe, Thizama & Rusoma – July 19, Jakha circle villages – July 20, Kohima Sadar and Sechü circle villages – July 23, Kohima Town FPS – July 24 & 25.
National Deworming Day 2018
Dimapur, July 16 (MExN): The 2nd round of National Deworming Day (NDD) for the year 2018 has been fixed on August 10 for all the children within the age group of 1-19 years. August 17 will be the Mop Up Day. Schools and Anganwadi Centres will be designated as the implementation sites for NDD.
NSCN (R) recovers vehicles
Dimapur, July 16 (MExN): The NSCN (R) has informed that Bolero GLX bearing Regd No. NL- 07- 3068 with engine number DT54J40579 and chassis no. 52J45044 has been recovered. A release issued by MIP, NSCN (R) further informed the rightful owner to claim the same within 7 days by producing relevant documents. For further query, contact. 9366266397. After the expiry of the deadline, the NSCN (R) shall not be held responsible under any circumstances, the release added. Another Mahindra Quanto (white color) bearing NL-07C-5307, chassis no. MAIVC2HOXC2K47346, and engine no. HUCK13866 was recovered. The rightful owner has been asked to claim the vehicle within 7 days by producing original documents. NDPP Mon mourns K Thong’s demise
Mon, July 16 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Mon region has expressed sadness over NDPP Tseminyu region president K Thong’s demise, saying “the party has lost a true and a capable leader which will be difficult to replace.” A condolence message from Tongang Konyak, president, NDPP Mon region further conveyed condolences to the family members and prayed that the Almighty grant them comfort and solace.
Wangyuh Konyak condoles
Dimapur, July 16 (MExN): W Wangyuh Konyak, ex MP has expressed shock over the demise of Romongo Jami, former Commissioner and Secretary on July 13. Wangyuh in a condolence note recollected that he first came to know the deceased when the latter was posted as circle officer of Chen in 1978. He came at a time when the situation was tense and conflicts between the administration and national workers were at its peak, the former MP stated. “His services to the people of Chen area at that tense and crucial period will always be remembered even though he is no more with us physically,” he added. On behalf of his family and Chen people, Wangyuh conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
