Dimapur DPDB meeting today
Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The Dimapur District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of March 2014 will be held on March 5. Stating that the time and venue remains the same, deputy commissioner & vice chairman of DPDB Dimapur, N Hushili Sema has requested all members to attend the meeting positively.
Mechanical engineers demand
recruitment of vacant post
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): Association of Mechanical Engineers has appealed the authority concerned to advertise and recruit the vacant post of Er. Toshi Sangtam, Asst. Mechanical Engineer (Works & Housing), Mon, who took voluntary retirement with effect from February 28. A press release appended by the Association’s general secretary, Er. Joyson Pfithu and president, Er. Pavito demanded that the vacant post should be directly recruited through NPSC without any biases. The Association further appealed to all the unemployed mechanical engineers to stand firm on clear and fair recruitment through exams conducted by NPSC.
Naiba Konyak inaugurates
Eyeang village
TOBU, MARCH 4 (DIPR): Advisor DUDA Nagaland, Naiba Konyak inaugurated the newly recognized Eyeang village under Tobu sub-division on February 28. As the chief guest, he unveiled the monolith. In his inaugural speech, he thanked the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio for his kind contribution to the people of Tobu area. He opined that without the support and concern of the Government of Nagaland and public, the inauguration could not have happened. Meanwhile, the guest of honour, ADC Tobu, Akhup Thangsing in his speech stated that the new village should always give cooperation within the village and have a good relation with the parent body, administration and other neighboring villages.
Refund of security deposits
to ex-servicemen in Kohima
Kohima, March 4 (DIPR): The Zila Sainik Welfare office, Kohima vide notice No-ZSWO/RC-50/11/255, dated 19th February 2014, has informed all members of the Kohima district ex-servicemen, that due to stoppage of payment of rations by the army, the security deposits made by ex-servicemen are being refunded. The refund money may be collected from the Zila Sainik Welfare office during office hours up to March 31, 2014.

Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): All the pastors under WSBAK are informed that the Association is conducting a pastors seminar from March 6 to 8, 2014 under the theme, “Imitating Christ Humility “(Phil 2:6-11) at Aküvüto, WSBAK Mission Centre. Therefore, all the pastors have been requested to attend the seminar and be blessed.
BPL & AAY card holders of Industrial
Village Razhuphe informed
Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): All the BPL & AAY card holders within Industrial Village Razhuphe, Dimapur have been directed to surrender their respective cards before the Industrial Village Razhuphe Council on or before March 8 as per directive received from the department concerned. Head GB cum chairman of the village, TL Angami in a press release stated that failing to do so, the BPL and AAY cards will automatically stand cancelled and new cards will be issued in order to make up for those ration cards and no further grievances will be entertained.
