APO lauds ‘peace & tranquility’ during election
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): The Angami Public Organisation (APO) has lauded the people of Nagaland in general and the residents of Kohima district in particular for maintaining “peace and tranquility” during the state election to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly held on February 27, 2018. In a press release issued by its info & publicity secretary, Neithono Sothu, APO further assured the citizens that it will “continue to support peaceful co-existence of all sections of the society at all times.”
Army Recruitment Rally at Tsg
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): Army Recruitment Rally would be held at New DC Football Ground, Tuensang (Nagaland) from April 9 to 15 for enrolment of youths from Nagaland only. Col C Konwer, PRO (Defence) has informed in a press release that all desirous of employment in Indian Army should register themselves on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in at the earliest. Eye camp for ex-servicemen in Dimapur
Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): Office of the Zila Sainik Welfare, Dimapur has informed that an eye camp will be organized on March 7 and 21 for ex-servicemen and dependents at ECHS Polyclinic in Dimapur located adjacent to Circuit House, Rajbari, Dimapur. The camp will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on both days. Eye specialist along with staff from Military Hospital, Rangapahar will perform the eye check-ups, according to a press release from Col TNK Singh (Retd). All ex-servicemen/ widows/ dependents have been advised to avail of the opportunity for eye related problems. They have also been asked to bring along ECHS card.
