Noklak bids adieu to ADC Thsuvisei Phoji
Noklak, June 16 (MExN): Farewell service in honour of the outgoing ADC of Noklak, Thsuvisei Phoji was held on June 14 at DB’s Court, Noklak. Phoji described Noklak as one of the best administrative headquarters he had ever served in his career. He acknowledged that the staff and other departments of the sub-division gave him good coordination and understanding, according to a DIPR report. He further mentioned that it is the duty of the government officials to obey the order of the government. He also expressed thankfulness to all the organizations for supporting him during his stay and urged them to continue the same spirit in future. EAC Noklak (HQ), Nchemthung Ezung, who chaired the function, expressed appreciation to the outgoing ADC for rendering good services to the people of Noklak. He described Phoji as a talented administrator who maintained law and order situation peacefully, for which he is loved and respected by all irrespective of young and old.
Pughoboto SDPDB meeting held
Pughoboto, June 16 (MExN): The Pughoboto Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) meeting cum felicitation of HSLC meritorious students was held on June 13 at ADC office here. MLA & SDPDB chairperson, Y Vikheho Swu called upon the house to inform all the villages to conduct social work before Tuluni festival. The house decided to let R&B and medical departments present their departmental activities in August. It also felicitated meritorious HSLC students. Four schools in Pughoboto registered 100 percent pass in the HSLC examination 2018 – GHS Ighanumi, GHS Asukiqa, DBS Lazami and Mission School Pughoboto. The MLA gave away citation certificates with cash awards.
