Wokha CMO notifies on obtaining FSS License
Wokha, August 17 (MExN): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Wokha, Dr. Robin Lotha has informed that as per the provision laid under Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and Rules 2011 final notification has been sent to all the business operating in the district to obtain the FSS License or Registered their Food Business establishment (Food Manufacturer, Distributor, Stockiest, Agencies, Departmental, Supplies, Wholesaler, Retailers, Hotels, Restaurants, Canteens, Pharmacy Selling Food items, all petty Food Business operations etc) from the office of the Designated Officers (Chief Medical ) on or before September 15. Operating food business without the FSS License or registration will attract up to five Lakhs and imprisonment upto six months under the section 63 of the Food Safety and Standard Act 2006.
Delhi Ao Students Union informs on registration
Delhi, August 17 (MExN): The Delhi Ao Students Union (DAKT) has started its registration process for Ao students currently residing and studying in Delhi for the session 2018-19. All students of the Ao community enrolled in any institution in Delhi and NCR are directed to contact the Statistics Secretaries to get registered. Parents are also requested to encourage their wards to do the same. “The Delhi Ao Students Union will not claim responsibility for any untoward incidents that befalls on students not registered in the Union,” stated a press release from the Union. 27th Bhasa Diwas on August 20
Kohima, August 17 (MExN): The Gorkha Sahitya Kala Sanstha, Kohima (GSKS) will be celebrating the 27th Bhasa Diwas on August 20 at 4:00 pm at the Gorkha Public Panchayat Hall Chandmari, Kohima. BB Gurung, former President, Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima will be the chief speaker and Pradeep Lama, Former President, Gorkha Hills Club Kohima will be the speaker. GSKS, General Secretary, Sushila Limbu in a press release said that to commemorate the occasion, GSKSK is organizing traditional dress competition and extempore speech competition on the same day. Interested student and elders may participate in the competition. CK Lama, President, GSKSK has invited all president and executives of all Gorkha NGOs, GBs, students, public and well wishers to attend the celebration.
