Art of Living Nagaland extends Holi greetings DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): President of the Art of Living, Nagaland RS Paswan today extended Holi greetings to the people of Nagaland. In a press note, Paswan stated: “It is a day when sore hearts are set at peace, hard hearts soften and unclean minds are washed clean through the medium of colours. May the spirit of Holi leave you drenched with joy.”   CM extends Holi wishes DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Shrühozelie Liezietsu extended his warm greetings to all the Hindu community of the state and across the country on the occasion of Holi. “Holi is one of the major festivals in Hindu culture but the warmth, fun and togetherness makes this festival transcend the boundaries of culture and religion” he said in a press note issued through the CMO. The CM expressed hope that the festival would bring peace, happiness and prosperity to all.   Let the spirit of Holi strengthen harmony: Gov DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya today extended Holi greetings to the people of the state and stated that Holi marks the arrival of spring while the many colours of Holi reflect the cultural diversity and heritage of the country. He called on the people to let the festival strengthen the secular fabric of the nation and foster unity, fraternity, joy and togetherness of the people. In a press note, the Governor hoped that the joyous spirits of traditional Holi festival will rejuvenate and strengthen the age old bond of love, harmony and understanding in society and keep all sections of the people united to march peacefully forward.   DRSU general meeting on March 18 DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): The Dimapur Rengma Students' Union (DRSU) will be having it's general meeting on March 18 at TUD office, Tenyimi Complex, next to Hotel Tragopan at 10:00 AM. A press note from the DRSU informed President and colleagues of Rengma Hoho Dimapur, Rengma Mothers' Association Dimapur, its executives, area representatives, senior leaders, advisors, students and concerned citizens to attend the meeting positively. “Members are to come with at least one traditional touch,” it added, while informing that any further information can be sough by contacting Information & Publicity Secretary, Kvuchulo Khing at +918731943362 / +918014173513.   TSUD meeting on March 15 DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) consultative meeting with the constituent units, college representatives and senior members will be held at Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD) Complex on March 15 at 2:00pm. A press note from the union informed all members to attend the meeting without fail.   Tuensang DC informs on arms license DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang has informed all holders of arms licences issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang and who have not had the Unique Identification Number (UIN) generated for their licences yet that the last date for generation of UIN is March 31. A press note from the Tuensang DC stated that due to the erratic internet connection in the office, all such arms holders are instructed to apply for generation of UIN on or before March 25 so that the licences are not rendered invalid. Failure to do so thereafter shall not be the responsibility of this office, it added.
