Proper agency needed to check Inner Line Permit: KYI Dimapur, March 31 (Mexn): Kyong Youth Initiative (KYI) today said that enforcement of Inner Line Permit (ILP) to check on “illegal immigrants” has not been successful as expected, “owing to factors redressble and reasons beyond the grasp of law” and called for a proper agency to check the same. It is felt, therefore, necessary to initiate certain steps and policies to put a halt on certain things which otherwise would have negative impacts in later stages, KYI said in a press release. Due to non-implementation of the ILP effectively, KYI further alleged that there is a rapid rise in diversity of composition of population in Wokha Town which might pose adverse impact in future. It’s a serious issue that needs immediate intervention from the administration as well as NGOs, it insisted. Tenants should have proper documents from the administration as well as colony council, and should not be patronised by locals on baseless pretext, it maintained. KYI further called for a proper agency to check on the movement of migrants and timely review by the administration as well.   PPC mourn demise of Wokshing, Hepong Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The Phom Peoples’ Council (PPC) has mourned the demise of Ex-MLA Wokshing Phom and Ex-IBM Hepong Phom.
