NCSU condoles Kohima, April 8 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) head office Kohima has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Liyani Tungoe, wife of Ntsenthung Tungoe, NCSU Vice-President, on April 7 night after a prolonged illness. “She was always friendly with all the NCSU families and her early departure created a great loss to us,” stated a condolence message from NCSU President, Pele Khezhie and General Secretary, John Kath. The union conveyed condolence and sympathy with the bereaved family members and prayed that God will grant them solace and strength at this moment of grief and sorrow.   IVR Head GB informs Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): All the EPIC card holders of polling station No. 11 and No. 12 at Industrial Village Razhüphe (IVR) under 2-Dimapur-II A/C have been directed to bring their family EPIC cards with two numbers of colored passport photos before the IVR council on April 28, 9:00 am onwards at IVR Panchayat Hall. A press release from Head GB cum Chairman IVR, TL Angami has asked all to bring the EPIC cards without fail for some necessary verification.   Committee to examine adhoc, contract, work-charged employees Kohima, April 8 (DIPR): The Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department in a notification has informed that the Government of Nagaland has constituted a committee, consisting of the following officers, to examine the posthumous and ex-post-facto regularization of the adhoc, contract, work-charged employees: Chairman – Chief Secretary; Members – Addl. Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner, Principal Secretary (School Education), Commissioner & Secretary (Works & Housing), Home Commissioner, Secretary (Justice & Law); Member Secretary – Secretary (P&AR).   SJHSS Tuensang alumni conduct social work Tuensang, April 8 (MExN): In commemoration of the school Golden Jubilee scheduled to be celebrated from April 21 to 23, the Alumni Association St. John’s Hr. Sec. School (SJHSS), Tuensang in collaboration with the school authority undertook a social work on April 8 in Tuensang Town under the theme ‘Clean Tuensang’. After the culmination of the social work, ADC, Tuensang, Nchumbemo addressed the declaration programme at the school campus and appreciated the alumni association for their initiative, a press release informed.
