ANSTGA meeting Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): The All Nagaland Small Tea Growers’ Association has informed all its office bearers, executive members and advisors across the state that it has scheduled a meeting on January 20 at 11 a.m. at its head officer in Darogapathar to discuss about the invitation from the Confederation of Indian Small Tea Growers’ Association to its meeting and an international seminar on challenges before small tea holders and its way out to be held from January 28 to 30 at Lataguri Doars in West Bengal.  

Government calendars and diaries on sale Kohima, January 16 (DIPR): The Nagaland Government 2016 Calendars and Diaries are on sale at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, New Capital Complex and the office of the DPRO Kohima, Near DC’s Office at the Government approved rate of Rs. 100/- each.   KMC to organize tug-of- war competition Kohima, January 16 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebration on January 26 at Secretariat Plaza, Kohima, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) is organizing a Tug-of- War competition, comprising of all the 19 wards. All the 19 wards within Kohima municipality have been informed to arrange 20 participants each with five reserves for this event and submit the list on or before January 21 in the office of KMC. The tournament will take place in the afternoon and will be on knock-out- basis.   Kohima Press Club informs   Kohima, January 16 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) informed that the KPC’s office bearers names from 2001 to 2015 was approved during its general body meeting held on January 16 at KPC new office complex Kohima. In the meeting the house endorsed the present KPC office bearers to decide the date or month in regard to KPC election so as to maintain the uniformity in every KPC election as per the convenient of the club’s members. The KPC members were informed the visitation programme to NMA’s AIDS hospice on republic day (26th Jan.) and also 15th KPC foundation day to be held on January 20th at KPC new office complex, for which all the KPC members, invited media personnel and well wishers are invited to the programme. Solomon Sha.   Meeting for Republic Day at Tizit Mon, January 16 (DIPR): To chalk out the programme for celebration of Republic day at Tizit H.Q a co-ordination meeting was held on January 14 at the conference hall of ADC Tizit under the chairmanship of ADC, Tizit, Renabomo Odyou (NCS). The meeting was attended by all heads of offices, representatives of educational institutions, Vice chairman and member of ADHOC town committee, NGOs, public leaders and GBs. During the meeting, ADC expressed gratitude to the various NGOs for their support and co-operation given during the past celebrations and also hoped that they would emulate the same in the succeeding celebrations.     One arrested under NLTP Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): The Excise Mobile Squad Dimapur Special Surveillance Team today arrested one Danan Joy for possession of 216 bottles of IMFL (beer). A press release from the Superintendent of Excise, Dimapur informing this stated that the accused has been booked under relevant section of the NLTP Act 1989 while the seized articles have been deposited at the Excise Mobile Squad Malkhana.
