First IPPI round at Zunheboto Zunheboto, January 18 (DIPR): The first round of Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) was administered to children at Zunheboto on January 17 by the Department of Health and Family Welfare. The IPPI drive was carried out in all wards/ colonies supervised by vaccinators and supervisors and hundreds of children from 0- 5 years were vaccinated during the said immunization programme. LBA declares 2016 as ‘Year of Mission’ Peren, January 18 (DIPR): The Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA) Nagaland will hold its Annual Session Cum Launching program of the ‘Year of Mission 2016’ under the banner “ stand firm on truth” coinciding with Nzau Old Baptist New Church Building inauguration program to be held from January 22 to 24 at Nzau Baptist Church. The annual session meeting is organized under the leadership of Kitanwi Chawang Executive Secretary LBA and LBA, President, N.Silubo Zeliang. Executive Secretary, Kitanwi Chawang has informed all the delegates to reach Nzau by 22nd January 2016. He also stated that under Liangmai Baptist Association all the churches, both young and old, should involve in mission work by atleast contributing something of what he/she can do for the Lord in his Ministry. NPF CEC meeting on Jan 29 Kohima, January 18 (MExN): In exercise of the powers conferred vide Article V Clause 3 read with Article IV Clause 3 Sub-Clause (i) of the Constitution, Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu President NPF has convened the next Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on January 29 at 11:00 am in the Central Office HQs Kohima. Therefore all the CEC members are directed to attend the meeting without fail. Phek Town Youth Society celebrates Sukrunyie Phek, January 18 (DIPR): The Phek Town youth Society celebrated youth festival cum Sukrunyie festival at local ground, Phek Town from January 12 to 15. On day one, MLA, Kuzholuzo Nienu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest where he greeted the people and called open the people to preserve our tradition handed down by our forefathers. He also stressed on maintaining healthy life style and doing good for the people and urged the youth to have a clear vision for a bright future. He further called exhorted the people to move forward to greater height of excellence. Phek ADC, Kuko Mero was as the chief guest on day two while SP Phek, Rukewelo T.Mero and DC Muroho Chotso were the chief guests on day three and four respectively. School of nursing NHAK graduation day Kohima, January 18 (MExN): The School of Nursing, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima will hold its graduation day cum 14th Lt. Mrs. Ketsovole Kire Award Ceremony 2016 on January 20 at 11:00 AM at DBT Conference Hall, NHAK. Dr. L.Watikala, director (Family Welfare), Directorate of Health & Family Welfare will exhort the gathering. Dr. Vikeyie Losou, managing director NHAK and NHAK School of Nursing principal Watimongla will also speak on the occasion. Awardee Neipukhrieno Kiso will also speak at the function.
