Chen Union Dimapur General Session on April 2 Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The Chen Union Dimapur is all set to hold its 20th General Session at its Treasurer's residence on April 2. The session will also witness celebration of Aoleang Monyu. Minister for RD & REPA – CL John will be gracing the session. The Session has being organise with the theme – ‘Making Good Society’, in relevance to the need of the time for the all round betterment of the society. The Union also inform that every Chen individual(s) to clear the yearly membership fee of Rs.20/- per person. The new household can get registered in the union with onetime fee of Rs.500/-; the registration process shall be open during the session. In the festival event, every member is asked to showcase traditional attires and items. The cultural troupes of both Men's and Women's are asked to perform with special focus on the cultural and traditional values. DC Phek notifies on firing practice Phek, March 31 (DIPR): 46th AR Phek is conducting small arms day firing practice at firing range Bn HQ Phek from April 1 to 30 and the time fixed from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Therefore, all the Phek Town dwellers and nearby villagers have been warned not to go near the firing zone during the aforesaid period.
