Total failure of K-Oil distribution system
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): The Federations of Dimapur Urban Colony Council Chairman (DUCCCF) and GBs Union Dimapur held joint meeting on February 4, 2014 and discussed the present total failure of K-Oil distribution system in Dimapur urban area through fair price shops.
The joint meeting appealed to the authorities concerned that for the last many years, K-Oil distribution was being carried out by the colonies representatives, GBs systematically/successfully to the general public to every household in the colonies ward 1 to 23 under urban area.
The present distribution system is totally a failure since they have distributed only two (2) times in the last 9 month i.e. April 2013 to January 2014 in the higher rate than fixed by the authority. The present household numbers in every colony are within 500 to 1000. However BPL Card holders are hardly within 40 to 50 families in every colony.
K-Oil is the basic essential commodities sanctioned by the central government for distribution to the general public for entire poor people. Therefore, the house appeals to the authority concerned to immediately abolish the present system and restore the system which were followed till March 2013 so that all the needy public will be equally benefited and get their share without discrimination.
