ANIDFSJF emergency meeting
Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): All Nagaland Inter-Departmental Field Staff Joint Forum (ANIDFSJF) has convened an emergency meeting of all departmental central office bearers on March 5, 10:00 am at Raj Bhawan Kohima to discuss various important issues regarding different memorandum and petitions submitted to the government for W/C service regularization and ROP, but no positive response given by the government. Therefore, all the presidents, secretaries of all departmental central officer bearers have been requested to attend the said meeting positively. “The responsibilities of the defaulting department will not be entertained,” stated a press release issued by president ANPHEFSA, N Zhekugha Assumi and general secretary ANPWDFWA, K Atovi Awomi.
ANSTA meeting on March 6
Kohima, March 1 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers Association is convening an emergency meeting on March 6 at CANSSEA Conference Hall (Sepfuzou Colony) Kohima at 11:00 am. ANSTA President Ponchulo Wanth in a press release has informed that it is mandatory for all the units and sub units office bearers to attend the meeting as many crucial/burning issues are to be discussed and resolved in the proposed meeting. The units and sub units concerned have been directed to bring constructive suggestions for early settlement of confronting issues being encountered by the Association. Any unit/sub unit failing to attend the meeting shall be held the sole responsibility for any unresolved issues of the Association.
CAJC requests government employees
Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): Coco Area Joint Council (CAJC) has asked all government employees under Akuhaito under Atoizu sub division to be stationed at the earliest to facilitate better functioning and working of the various departments in the interest of the public. CAJC Chairman Hokiye GB in a press relesae said that this was decided during a meeting held at Akuhaito on March 1 organised by the CAJC with all the head of departments and GBs. The meeting also decided not to allow any transfer along with post in any of the departments. It was further decided to further strengthen the working of all the departments in Akuhaito.
Core committee for SVEEP constituted
Kohima, March 1 (DIPR): A core committee for SVEEP (Systematic Voter education & Electoral Participation) for Kohima district has been constituted with the following officials: Additional Deputy Commissioner & Electoral Registration Officer, Kohima - Nodal officer; District Youth Resource Officer, Kohima – Member; District Public Relation Officer, Kohima – Member; District Education Officer, Kohima – Member, Asst Election Officer, Kohima – Member Secretary.
District education officer Peren informs
Peren, March 1 (MExN): Deputy District Education Officer, Peren has asked all the schools and students concerned, who are yet to collect the pre-matric scholarship to come and collect it before March 7, 2014 along with supporting documents. The office will not entertain anyone after the stipulated time, the officer said in a press release.
Intellectual property rights workshop
Kohima, March 1 (MExN): The National Institute of Electronics Information Technology (NIELIT) Kohima is organizing a one day national awareness workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on March 3 at NIELIT Kohima from 11:00 AM onwards. K. D. Vizo, ITS, commissioner and secretary IT&C will grace the workshop as the chief guest.
