Burma Camp Area Bazaar Committee meet held 
DIMAPUR, MARCH 4 (MExN): Burma Camp Area Bazaar Committee comprising of seven neighboring colony viz. Veterinary Colony, United north block A, United North Block B, Sunrise Colony, Namgalong Rongmei Colony, Niu Colony and Naga Colony had general meeting on March 2 at the residence of its Chairman Tokiye Kibami at Veterinary Colony. Chairman Tokiye Kibami and Secretary Athempu in a press release said that the members present at the meeting had discussed on the deplorable road condition, to uphold the social harmony and the peaceful atmosphere the colony. The committee members appeal to the concerned authority to look into the matter regarding the maintenance of the road stretch from Burma camp police point to till the Assam border. Makuran has been appointed as secretary information and publicity. 

CNTC welcomes auto driver uniform code
Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Tribal Council (CNTC) extends support to the RTA & Dimapur District Administration for introducing uniform code for all auto driver of Dimapur. The CNTC in a press release said that te initiative is a welcome step and that it shall be beneficial for the security of the denizen. At this outset the CNTC also implore upon the auto driver’s union to conform to the direction of the RTA and Deputy Commissioner as it is for the security and welfare of the drivers as well as the denizen.

Info for private schools in Dimapur 
Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): All the private schools in Dimapur are informed to follow as per schedule routine for routing through District Planning and Development Board for onward submission to the Directorate of School Education and Higher Education. Grant- in- Aid application forms will be issued and received on or before April 25. Opening of New School/College application forms will be issued and received on or before May 25. Up-Gradation of Schools application forms will be issued and received on or before June 25. Henceforth, no application forms will be entertained after the stipulated time under any circumstances. Dimapur District Education Officer Nungshila Sohe in a press release has requested the school authority to apply accordingly as per notification.

Mkg DPDB meet on March 7
MOKOKCHUNG, MARCH 4 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) will be held on March 7. Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung and vice Chairman of DPDB, Murohu Chotso have informed all the members of the Board to take note of the date and attend the meeting without fail.

NLA speaker calls meeting
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Chotisuh Sazo, who is also the chairman of Business Advisory Committee, has convened a meeting on March 10, 11:00 am at the Assembly Committee room to finalize the Provisional Programme for the ensuing fourth session of twelfth assembly to commence from March 20. Therefore, all Committee members concerned have been requested to attend the meeting, said a press release issued by NLA secretary, AE Lotha. 

Nodal officers for conduct of Lok Sabha Election
Kohima, March 4 (DIPR): Regarding appoint of nodal officers for conduct of Lok Sabha Election, all heads of offices/departments under Kohima district who have not appointed have been reminded to appoint/nominate responsible officer as department nodal officer and submit the name, designation and contact number of the nodal officer to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on or before March 10, 2014. The appointment of Nodal Officer is for the conduct of Lok Sabha Election who shall Supervise and disseminate all election related information to Officers and Staff under the concerned office/department. Further, with regard to employees list if there are any changes due to promotion and transfer, retirement, major health problem of the employees after submission of employee list to Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, it is requested to intimate the changes at the earliest.

NPCC Election Committee Member meeting 
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): There will be NPCC Election Committee Member meeting on March 7 (Friday) at 11:00 am at Congress Bhavan Kohima. Therefore, all the concern members are requested to attend without fail.

NSF 3rd Federal Assembly
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): Assembly secretariat of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed that the 3rd Federal Assembly of NSF for the tenure 2013-15 will be held on March 22 from 10:00 am onwards at Pallel, Chamdil district, Manipur. The Maring Students’ Union will host the said Federal Assembly. Therefore, all the federating units, sub-ordinate bodies, tribunals, and senior leaders of NSF have been requested to be at the venue positively on March 21 evening.   

PAC Evidence Committee Meeting on March 7 
Kohima, March 4 (MExN): This is to inform that PAC Evidence Committee Meeting is fixed on March 7 at 3:00 pm. In this regard, Project Directors of DRDAs of Tuensang, Dimapur, Peren and Mon are directed to report to the Directorate at 11:00 am. Rural Development Director Metsubo Jamir informed in a press release that meeting of all the Project Directors and BDOs will also be held on March 10 (Monday) at 11:00 am in the Conference Hall of the RD Directorate. All PDs and BDOs are directed to attend without fail.

Pughoboto SDPDB meeting postponed
Pughoboto, March 4 (DIPR): Monthly meeting of Pughoboto Sub-division Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) has been postponed to March 12, 2014. All the responsible board members have been requested to take note of the change of date and make it convenient to attend the meeting.
