Govt declares ‘transaction days’
Kohima, March 7 (DIPR): The Additional Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner, Toshi Aier in a notification stated that in view of the financial year closing and in order to facilitate clearance of pending Government transactions, the Government declares March 12, 19 and 26, 2014 (Wednesday) and March 15, 2014 (Saturday) as ‘transaction days’ for all the Treasuries and Sub-Treasuries in the State.

KDCC executive meeting on March 12
Kohima, March 7 (MExN): The Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) has convened its executive meeting on March 12 at 11:00 am in KDCC office Kohima. Therefore, all KDCC office bearers, ACCC president, frontal chief and committee members are requested to attend the meeting positively. 

NPCC calls meeting on March 14
Kohima, March 7 (MExN): The NPCC has informed that there will be a meeting of the PCC office bearers, PCC members and INC candidates on March 14 at 11:00 am in Congress Bhavan, Kohima. NPCC general secretary (admin) Medokul Sophie in a press release has requested all members concerned to attend the meeting without fail. 

NPF CEC meeting on March 9
Kohima, March 7 (MExN): In exercise of the powers conferred on him vide Article no. V, Clause-10 read with Article IV no. 3 Sub-Clause C - ii of the Constitution, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, the President of the Naga People’s Front has convened an emergency meeting of the Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting to be held on March 19 (Wednesday) at 11:00 am at the Central Office HQs. Kohima. Therefore, all the members of the Central Executive Council (CEC) are directed to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail. This was informed in a press release issued by NPF Secretary General K. G. Kenye.
 
SKK Platinum Jubilee joint meeting
Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): Planning Board, Platinum Jubilee of Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SKK), Zunheboto has called for a joint meeting of various sub-committees and coordination committee on March 9 (Sunday), 1:00 pm at Circuit House Dimapur to finalise the Niuland programme scheduled for April. The Board secretary S Zhevihe Sumi in a press release has informed the respective sub-committees to present the progress report in the meeting proposed. 

SUK meet resolves
Kohima, March 7 (MExN): The Sangtam Union Kohima held its 42nd general meeting on February 8 last at the State Academy Hall, Kohima. The House after thorough deliberation resolved that no individual/groupor societies from Sangtam tribe will collect any donations/contribution within the Kohima town from 2014 onwards without the knowledge of Sangtam Union Kohima. This was stated in a release issued by SUK president Seopi Sangtam.

Tobu SDPDB meeting on March 11
Tobu, March 7 (DIPR): The monthly Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) for the month of March will be held on March 11 at ADCs Conference Hall Tobu. All the SDPDB members from Tobu are requested to attend the meeting positively.
 
Phek DPDB meeting postponed 
Phek, March 7 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner Phek in a circular informed all head of offices, Phek district, that the DPDB meeting cum picnic programme has been postponed from March 10 to 11, Tuesday, 2014 due to unavoidable circumstances. The venue of the programme will be at Lanye junction from 11 a.m. onwards. The Programme will be organized and sponsored by E.E. PWD (R&B), Phek and E.E, PWD (Pfutsero). All are requested to attend without fail.
