KOHIMA, April 6 (MExN): A 15-year-old boy, named, Krielo AsarhŸ from Punanamai village has been missing since March 25, 2014 from Mao-Khuzama area. DC Dimapur informs on election
Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): Deputy commissioner & district election officer of Dimapur has informed all head of office/ institutions and chairmen of panchayat under Dimapur district to keep open the polling station buildings by April 8, 2014. Necessary furniture like tables and chairs should be made available at the polling stations. Hours of poll have been fixed from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on April 9, the DC informed.
DC&DEO Tuensang informs
Tuensang, April 6 (MExN): Deputy commissioner & district election officer, Tuensang has notified for strict compliance by all concerned that as per Section 126 of the Representation of the People’s Act 1951, the campaign for the parliamentary election to the 1- Nagaland parliamentary constituency will come to an end with effect from 4:00 pm on April 7. All political functionaries from outside the district are to leave the district immediately after the campaign period is over. Further, DC T Mhabemo Yanthan informed that no candidate/ political party shall convene or hold any public meetings after the campaign period is over.

Kohima, April 6 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education has directed all District Education Officers (DEOs) to select 200 more teachers including Adhoc and contract appointees from each district and submit with forms and documents in triplicate for undergoing D.EL. ED training through NIOS at the earliest. This is for inclusion of contract/adhoc elementary teachers in distance mode training.
EPIC to be distributed at Industrial Village Razhuphe today
Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): It has been informed that as per information received from Booth Level Officers concerned of polling station no. 11 and 12 of 2 – Dimapur – 2 assembly constituency, Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) will be distributed to all voters within Industrial Village Razhuphe on April 7 from 9:00 am onwards at STP Office complex. Therefore, all voters under the above mentioned polling stations have been requested to go to the said polling stations and collect the voter cards accordingly.
