Mokokchung, May 5 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board for the month of May will be held as usual on May 7 (Wednesday) 2014 in the ADC (Planning) Conference Hall from 11:00 a.m. DC & Vice Chairman, DPDB Muroho Chotso informed all the members to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail.

Peren, May 5 (DIPR): Apropos to the News item under the caption ‘Peren DPDB Meeting Scheduled’ appeared in Naga news on May 2, the venue of the DPDB meeting will be held in the new DC Office Complex, Peren on May 6, Tuesday at 11 a.m. and not as rendered.
Dimapur DPDB meeting held
Dimapur, May 5 (DIPR): The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting of Dimapur district for the month of May was held on May 5 at the Conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairman DPDB, N. Husheli Sema, IAS. Departmental presentation was given by Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department. Establishment of Ten Bedded Hospital at Central Jail, Dimapur was deferred to the next DPDB meeting since there was no representative from the concerned department to explain and justify the proposal. The Board entrusted Horticulture department, Food & Civil Supplies and Land resources department to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from the chair.
World Red Cross Day on May 8
Kohima, May 5 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch will be celebrating World Red Cross Day on May 8 at 11:00 am in the Conference Hall, Red Cross Complex under the theme “My Red Cross Story” with CM Chang, Minister for School Education as the chief guest. All founding members, Patrons, Vice Patrons, Life Members and well-wishers to attend the function are invited to attend the programme. To commemorate the day a Fund Drive in the form of selling Red Cross flags will be undertaken by the Junior/Youth Red Cross students at Kohima Town on May 7. Army recruitment rally at Leimakhong
Kohima, May 5 (DIPR): The Director of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement Nagaland has informed that Candidates belonging to Nagaland State willing to appear for the Army Recruitment Rally at Leimakhong from May 15 to 25 are requested to visit the Directorate of Sainik Welfare above Alder College H.S Road Kohima. It is also informed that guidance and free coaching would be conducted from May 5 onwards till May 7 at the Directorate.
