ANATU Longleng meet on May 13
Longleng, May 7 (MExN): All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Union Longleng Unit has called an emergency meeting on May 13, 10:00 am at the residence of Nyeklom Phom, near GPS School Shaulih Ward, Longleng, to discuss about service regularization and related matters. Those who have submitted documents for suitability test have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
ANDAMSA emergency meeting
Kohima, May 7 (MExN): All Nagaland District Administrative Ministerial Staffs’ Association (ANDAMSA) has informed all its central office bearers, advisors (office supt.), and district unit representatives that an emergency meeting has been called on May 20, 10:00 am at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Kohima to discuss issues related to the association. All abovementioned people have been requested to attend the same.
Govt high schools upgraded
Mokokchung, may 7 (DIPR): Nagaland Government has upgraded N.I. Jamir High School, Mokokchung, Mangkolemba Government High School and Tuli Government High School to Higher Secondary Schools and the classes will run from the current academic session. This was informed by Deputy District Education Officer, Rowainla in the meeting of the Mokokchung DPDB held on May 7. The Deputy District Education Officer also informed that N.I. Jamir School will offer Arts and commerce while Mangkolemba and Tuli will offer Arts from the current academic session. With this, hundreds of students who could not afford to pursue their post matric studies would avail opportunity to pursue their studies at their door step, she added.
IRCSN to observe World Red Cross Day
Kohima, May 7 (DIPR): Along with the rest of the world the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch will be observing the World Red Cross day under the theme “My Red Cross Story” at the conference hall Red Cross Complex Kohima on May 8. Minister for School Education, C.M Chang will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and Chairperson IRCS Nagaland State Branch, Abeni TCK will preside over the function. Other highlights of the program includes invocation prayer by Member, M.C IRCSN, Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, opening song by JRC Unit, St. John School, Kohima welcome address by Member, M.C IRCSN, C.R. Lotha, Prize distribution, Special song by School of Nursing, NHAK and vote of thanks by General Secretary, IRCSN, Dr. Kepelhusie Terhüja.

Kohima, May 7 (MExN): The North Eastern Region Service Nepali Association (NERSNA) Kohima is organizing felicitation programme in honour of all the HSLC and HSSLC successful Nepali/Gorkha students on May 11 at 11:00 AM. The Association has requested all the successful students to submit Xerox copy of marksheet and admit card in the office of the Association and further requested them to attend the programme along with their parents/guardians positively. Kohima, May 7 (MExN): A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Nagaland Industries & Commerce Gazetted Officers’ Association (NICGOA) has been scheduled on May 9, 1:00 PM in the conference hall of the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Nagaland Kohima. Stating that there are important issues to be urgently discussed in the meeting, NICGOA president Er S Temsulong has requested all concerned to make it convenient to attend the meeting positively.
