Info to collect library books
Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The Registering Officer, Department of Art & Culture, Dimapur has informed all registered Rural Libraries (registered up to 2012-2013) under Dimapur district to collect library books from the new office complex of Registering Office, department of Art & Culture, Tenyiphe-1, near St. Joseph School Chumukedima, Dimapur within May 15 to August 15, 2014. A press note from the department informed that each recipient library is requested to bring their library round seal and president/secretary/librarian seal. Books will not be issued to unauthorized person or without official seals.
LFA-Nagaland advocacy prog
Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA-Nagaland) will be organizing an advocacy programme on HIV/AIDS at VK Town, Zunheboto and Lotsu Village, Wokha on May 14. Guest speaker at VK Town will be MLA Khekaho Assumi while MLA and Chairman NSMDC Thomas Ngullie will b ethe guest speaker at Lostu village.

Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The Naga United Village Council (NUVC) held meeting on May 3 at the Council Hall. The house elected Kuthokü Shijoh as chairman, K Lokho as secretary and 11 VCM.
PLCC request for cooperation
Kohima, May 12 (MExN): The Panchayat Lower Chandmari Colony has requested to give full cooperation to SIPMIU house mapping and data collection under KMC. The officials have been authorized to collect detail report of households and to provide necessary facilities.
ATM booth installed at SBI Tseminyu branch
Tseminyu, May 12 (DIPR): SBI Tseminyu Branch inaugurated the recently installed first ATM booth of the sub-division on May 10 at its premises. Inaugurating the long awaited and much needed ATM booth ADC Tseminyu, Vikhweno Meratsu congratulated the SBI officials for taking the sub-division a step further towards development by introducing the ATM to the one of the oldest sub-division of the State. She urged the citizens to make use of the machine not only for withdrawing cash but also to explore other important facilities, which it provides. Branch Manager, Gwanile Khing in her welcome speech emphasized on the importance of the ATM as modern necessity both in urban and rural areas and expressed optimism that it would solve the banking needs of the people to a great extend. She also expressed gratitude to the higher authority for responding to the needs of the people in installing the machine.During the inaugural function Keny Tep, Kelesha Kath, President RMA and Thilo Tsela of Tseminyu Union also delivered short speeches. Athon Khing, Pastor Tseminyu Town Baptist Church pronounced invocation prayer.
DDOs directed on NPS documents
Kohima, May 12 (MExN): All the subordinate DDOs are informed that due to inaccurate and incomplete submission of New Pension Scheme (NPS) documents particularly with regards to the Treasury Challan, which is being submitted in incomplete form either with the seal and signature of the Treasury Officer or the TV No. missing, the Department is not in a position to submit the NPS documents to Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts within the stipulated time. Therefore, all subordinate DDOs are directed to submit the New Pension Scheme (NPS) in accordance with the provisions of the said scheme on or before May 31, failing which salary for the next month will be withheld for the defaulting DDO. It is to be noted that the loss of interests to the subscriber will be the sole responsibility of the DDO concerned and therefore will be recovered from the defaulting DDO. This was informed in a press release issued by Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, principal director, Directorate of School Education.
