NLA informs on car passes
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): In view of the fourth session of the 13th Nagaland Assembly to be held from August 6 to 8. The Secretary of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), K Sekhose has informed that “car passes and official gallery passes” will be issued from August 3 onwards, as under: Ministers and AHODs are to collect car passes and gallery passes from the Special Secretary (Home), Civil Secretariat, Nagaland, Kohima; Advisors/MLAs/P.S./P.A./ and other Department are directed to collect the car passes from Reception Counter Gate No-II, NLA Secretariat; HODs/Medias are to collect the car passes from Reception Counter Gate No-I, NLA Secretariat.
NLA consultative meet on August 9
Kohima , July 27 (MExN): The Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) and Convenor, Joint Legislators' Forum on Naga Political Issue, Vikho-o-Yhoshu has convened a consultative meeting of all the members of the 13th NLA and the members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on August 9 at 10:00 am, in the Conference Hall of Assembly Secretariat. Thereafter, another meeting of all the members of the 13th NLA and the members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will be held for “formation of the Parliamentarians and Ex- Parliamentarians Association,” informed a press release issue by K Sekhose, Secretary NLA. It requested all members and Members of the Parliament (MP) from Nagaland to attend the meeting positively.
ANSGEA general meeting cum
seminar training on July 30
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): The All Nagaland State Grade-IV Staff Employees Association (ANSGEA) will hold its general meeting cum seminar training on July 30 at 11:00 am at CANSSEA Office Conference Hall, near Sepfuzou, Kohima. Dr Neikiesalie Kire, advisor urban development and municipal affairs will be the special guest. L Youdang Jamir, additional director ATI Kohima will be the resource person of the seminar. The function will be chaired by ANSGEA joint secretary Khrieketou Yano while welcome address will be delivered by ANSGEA president Y. Shahkam Chemphang. Vote of thanks will be proposed by ANSGEA general secretary Imlitemjen Ao. Seminar session will start from 1:00 pm onwards. All the regular G-IV employees within the Kohima district and five members each from District/Sub Division offices have been requested to attend the seminar training without fail.
Official launching of SSW Nagaland state
Dimapur, July 27 (MExN): The members of Salesians in the Secular World (SSW) will be officially launching the SSW - Nagaland State on July 31, 10:00 am at Don Bosco Institute Of Development & Leadership (DBIDL), Dimapur. Reverend Father Nazarius SDB, Vice Provincial of Salesian Province, Dimapur will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Truck load of IMFL seized
Dimapur July 27 (MExN): Dimapur Police intercepted a truck load of IMFL at Seithekema area on July 25. In this regard, one person namely Addam Dhan (19 yrs) Bokajan Police Station, District-Karbi Anglong was arrested along with a total seizure of 929 cases of IMFL, informed a press release issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO Dimapur. “A case has been registered in Chümüokedima PS for further investigation,” it stated.
Medziphema sub div holds meet
Medziphema, July 27 (MExN): In view of the upcoming Independence Day 2019, Medziphema Sub-division head of offices along with educational institutions held a meeting at ADC Office on July 26. The meeting was chaired by EAC SentilongOzukum. As per a DIPR report, the EAC informed that all the Independence Day parade contingent rehearsal would start from August 12 at Medziphema Local ground. Various work assignments were entrusted to different departments.
Mkg administrative heads hold meet
Mokokchung, July 27 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS held a meeting with head of offices under Mokokchung District and all Administrative Officers (HQ) at ADC Planning Conference Hall on July 26 to discuss matters regarding the preparation for the 73rd Independence Day celebration at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. As per DIPR report, work distributions for the celebration were discussed and the departments were assigned their respective work during the meeting. Deputy Commissioner called upon all the departments to coordinate with ADC in matters regarding the preparation.
THN half yearly assembly
Dimapur, July 27 (MExN): The Tangkul Hoho Nagaland’s (THN) half yearly assembly will be held on August 17, 11:00 am at Wungram, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur. President, THN in a press release has requested all its members to attend the assembly.
