Pension beneficiaries under Mokokchung notified

Mokokchung, October 27 (MExN): District Welfare Officer, Mokokchung, T Aoakhum Longchar has informed that beneficiaries drawing Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Disability Pension under National Scheme (NSAP) and Disability Pension, Scholarship to Handicap Students and Blind Pension under State Scheme, that the payment for the period 2020-2021 will be made in cash with effect from November 8 at the District Welfare Office, Mokokchung during office working hours.
The authorized persons should produce Life Certificate of the beneficiaries from the respective Pastor of the Church along with the pension Payment Book of all the beneficiaries under its jurisdiction to draw the pension benefits.
Further, all the beneficiaries drawing Disability Pension and Blind Pension under State and National Scheme are requested to produce Photocopy of Disability Certificate, Photocopy of Aadhaar Card (if enrolled) and One Passport Photo during payment.

Payment schedule: Tsurangkong- November 8 and 9, Japukong- November 10 to 12, Jangpetkong- November 15 to 17, Langpangkong- November 18, 20 and 22, Asetkong- November 23, Ongpangkong- November 24 to 26 and Mokokchung Town- November 29 and 30.

CS convenes meeting of AHoDS and HoDS

Kohima, October 27 (MExN): Chief Secretary, J Alam, IAS has convened a meeting of Administrative Heads of Department and Heads of Departments on October 29 at 11:00 am in the Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima. The meeting agenda includes: Review of the last meeting agenda; To hold a weekly meeting to review on departmental activities and discuss on important matters pertaining to the department concerned including establishment matters, financial issues, developmental activities, innovative practices or ideas to initiate reforms for ensuring smoother delivery of public service; PRAGATI meetings; Hornbill preparations; Briefing on ePaybills- Dept of P&AR; Any other agenda item with the permission of the Chairman. All AHoDs and HoDs have been informed to attend the meeting positively.
 

DWO Kohima on payment of various pensions

Kohima, October 27 (MExN): The District Welfare Officer (DWO) Kohima informed all beneficiaries under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension scheme, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Disability scheme and under the State Old Age Pension, Blind pension, financial assistance to disabled persons and scholarship to disabled students for the year 2020-2021 that payment will be made in the office of DWO, Kohima from October 28 onwards. This was stated in a release issued by Akali Sema, DWO, Kohima.

DC Longleng notifies

Longleng, October 27 (MExN): In view of the ongoing road construction work in Longleng town from Hukphang junction to Naga junction, partial restriction of vehicular movement on stretch has been further extended for a week from October 26-November 1. The State DIPR, citing a notification from the Long Deputy Commissioner office, said that the timing of vehicular movement remains the same as earlier i.e. morning 7-10 am and evening 2-4pm.

Pentecostal Church Kohima informs

Kohima, October 27 (MExN): The Pentecostal Church, New Market, Kohima has informed that it will hold its annual centre convention and divine healing services from October 28-31 at conventional ground, Lower Jail colony, Kohima. In a press release, the the church has invited all to the three-day services “where sick would also be prayed for.” Other meetings include daily "Bible study (7am); devotional service (10am) and “tarrying for the Holy Spirit” (1:30 pm), it said. Special e-roll revision from Nov 1: DC Dimapur

Dimapur, October 27 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has informed that the Election Commission of India has directed to undertake the special summary revision of photo electoral roll. As per the State DIPR, the revision with reference to 01.01.2022 as qualifying date will start after the first publication of integrated draft roll on November 1.  Voters can file claims and objections till November 30 and the final electoral roll will be published on December 5.
