Dimapur Police recovers one body

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): Around 10:10 am on Saturday, the Dimapur Police stated that telephonic information was received of one unidentified male lying unconscious at DC Court area near Traffic Point Dimapur. 
“Accordingly the duty party rushed to the spot and found one non local Male (45-50 yrs approx) lying unconscious. He was rushed to the District Hospital, Dimapur. However on reaching the hospital the person was declared death by the hospital authority. The inquest examination was conducted over the dead body and no foul play was found during the time of inquest,” Khekali Y Sema (NPS), Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur stated in a press release. 
On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination, identification. The deceased was found wearing white shirt long slave black stripe and black long pant. Claimants, relatives, friends of the deceased have been requested to contact Officer-in-Charge, West PS Dimapur @7085055024.

DVC strictly bans collection of tax

Diphupar, March 9 (MExN): The Diphupar Village Council (DVC) has reaffirmed the Resolution adopted in the Joint meeting of Diphupar Area Villages Co-ordination Committee on May 24, 2014 on ‘One Government One Tax.’ DVC Chairman Ghuzui and Secretary Tiatemsu Ao in a press release stated that the council during its meeting on March 7 has also resolved to strictly ban the collection of tax or donation by any individual or organisation within the jurisdiction of Diphupar Village. It also resolved to take stringent action against the defaulters of this resolution on collection of tax and donations.

Sufficient stocks of rice for Nagaland

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): The Food Corporation of India (FCI) in a press note today update informed that sufficient stocks of rice were available in central pool to meet the requirement of NFSA and other schemes of the Central government for the state of Nagaland. The FCI regional office Dimapur informed as on March 7, “approximately 49476 Metric Tonnes of FRK Rice is available against 13912 MT (approx.) to be lifted during March 2024 in the Central pool which is well above the buffer norms/operational requirement.”

107 people avail services at 
health camp in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, March 9 (MExN):  A Reproductive Child Health (RCH) camp organised by the office of the Chief Medical Officers Office, Mokokchung was held at Pangsang Health and wellness Centre on March 8.A press release informed that during the camp, health services such as paediatrics, gynaecology, family planning methods and other medical ailments were provided and free medicines to all the patients. Altogether 107 people availed free medical services at the RCH Camp. A total of 8 ANC, 45 blood screened for HIV and syphilis, 10 blood grouping, 3 pregnancy test, 3 CUT insertion, 1 CUT removal were done.
