Darogapathar Village Council takes measures to ensure free & fair polls

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 13 (MExN): The Darogapathar Village Council has decided to take several measures to ensure free and fair polls. A press release from the council informed that putting up political banners, posters etc is prohibited within the village jurisdiction; political parties are restricted from operating political/youth camps within the village jurisdiction; and “outsiders” have been asked to refrain from any political activities within the village jurisdiction on polling day. “If so, action against the perpetrators will be taken as deemed fit,” it cautioned. It meanwhile entrusted the Darogapathar Youth Organisation to ensure that all efforts to safeguard and provide a secure environment within the village jurisdiction is implemented. 

IT dept is Aadhaar AUA of Nagaland

Kohima, February 13 (MExN): The Department of Information Technology & Communication has been mandated to become the Aadhaar Authentication User Agency (AUA) for the State of Nagaland. Informing this through a DIPR report, it also stated that all other Departments using online applications, including DBT schemes, requiring the authentication of Aadhaar for verification and service delivery will be done as a sub-AUA under that of the Department of Information Technology & Communication.

NBSE informs on HSLC mathematics

Kohima, February 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed that in continuation of Notification No. 115/2022 dated 9th November 2022, all concerned have been notified that for HSLC Mathematics A and HSLC Mathematics B, which is to be introduced w.e.f. the HSLC Examination 2024, the following are given as Annexure: Design of Question Paper for both Mathematics A and Mathematics B; Sample Blueprint of the Model Question Paper; and Model Question Papers for both Mathematics A and Mathematics B. These are also made available in the NBSE portal www.nbsenl.edu.in Therefore, all Heads of Institutions are requested to take note and instruct the teachers and students to make use of the resources given.

NSCN (IM) mourn demise of P Wosumo

Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the untimely demise of P Wosumo, Deputy Secretary, Central Secretariat, GPRN, Lotha Region who passed away on February 10. In a press release LH John, Cabinet Secretary, NSCN (IM) said that P Wosumo joined Naga national service on October 26, 1998. “He gave his best service to the Nation within his capacity and ability until his last breath. His contribution rendered for the cause of the Nation shall be ever remembered and cherished for all times to come,” the release stated. “I, on behalf of the Government of the People's Republic of Nagalim, express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, and near and dear ones of late P Wosumo. May the Almighty God give them solace in their hour of sorrow and pain, and grant eternal blissful rest to the departed soul,” it added.
