DoSE informs on text books

Kohima, July 14 (MExN): The Directorate of school education, Nagaland informed all the Sub Divisional Education Officers (SDEOs) to submit the status report on shortage and excess of free text books 2020-21 on or before July 20. The same be submitted at Room No. 419, Directorate of School Education, Kohima, according to a release issued by Shanavas C, principal director.

F&CS holds condolence service 

Dimapur, July 14 (MExN): Condolence service in honour of Sentirenla Longkumer, Additional Director, F&CS, Nagaland was held at the conference hall of the Directorate of F&CS on July 14. Sentirenla was remembered as an honest, hardworking and dedicated officer, a strong pillar in the Department and someone who was willing and ready to shoulder any kind of responsibilities assigned to her. “It is indeed a huge lost for the Department and her absence will be greatly felt in the days to come,” Temsu Jamir, Joint Director, F&CS stated in a press release. The Officers and Staffs of the Department also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members. 

PAC meeting on July 20 

Kohima, July 14 (MExN): Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Nagaland Legislative Assembly and also Advisor, School Education, KT Sukhalu has convened a meeting of the Committee on July 20 at 11:00 am in the Committee Room of the Assembly Secretariat. All members of the Committee have been requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting as scheduled.
